89 - PTG-Spring
4.5
Goal Machine
By xKiMmEnx, 20-03-2018

I won this card in SBC PTG Untradeable.

I put Hunter chem card on him and gave him a go in a strong squad.

Played 2 games (scored 2 and 2 assists) with him on top with Messi IF - gave him instructions stay central and go behind, whilst Messi Messi was instructed to be a false 9.

Straight away I saw that they fit perfect together and decided to keep him.

He played all 40 WL games for me and became the top scorer with 36 goals and he got 18 assists. His partner Messi netted 18 times and had 23 assists - manly to Icardis goals.

His pace is very good with Hunter Chem Card. My playstyle don’t require speedy players on top, but he did the job when sprinting past defenders. With that said, he is not a player who’s positioning

gives lots of counter opportunities, because of his work rate Med/Low. He is more a box striker, hitting deadly shots just outside and he’s very effective inside the boxs with rapid shots and good positioning. He will hit the target with every heading opportunities with 99 jumping and 99 heading accuracy. He can dribble, but with 3 star skills he’s limited to basic skill moves.

The only problem i had with him is the passing. But that may be down to my playstyle - but he lacks tiki-taka touch. He lacks the vision to link up fast passing play. But this is a minor detail as long as

he scores 0,95 goals per game.

I can recommend this card to everyone seeking a strong target type, and a loyal box player - and those who have a gameplay that don’t focus on counter only.

If you’re a counter guy - sell him

Simply a beast

What a player! Bought him when he was in packs butI used his informs before. He just scores everything shots outside the box almost from every angle. Inside the box just press shoot and you score. And his heading is just overpowered if he gets the ball on his head it is 9/10 a goal inside the box. His shot power is crazy aswell.

He just scores
By sweeptheleg, 26-03-2018

Icardi does one thing and one thing only; he scores. Whether it is outside the box, his right foot, his left foot, or his head, he puts it in the back of net from every imagineable angle. He will finish the chances you create at a rate that will only be beat by the most elite players available. His dribbling is criminally underrated and he creates space in the bhis ability to create space in the box to shoot He isn't without limitations though. He lacks the dynamic speed of Dybala or Merterns and his passing is inconsistent. If you favor a false 9 like I did, he may not be the player for you. But I put him into my team to try him out and I can't justify taking him out (even for my preferred false 9's like Dybala and Firmino) because he averages a goal a game. For 85k, Icardi is a no brianer.
