Ligue 1 Maestro (Di Maria)

When the Fut birthday players cards were released there was a hype train on the best sweatiest cards you could get for example Fut Birthday David Villa. I saw this Di Maria card and though it would be better than Rui Costa and also a lot cheaper. I paid roughly 50k for him Now here comes the review:

Pace:

Di Maria has 90 Pace which feels amazing especially at CAM. He usually outpaces any player but some high Pace full backs such as Jordi Alba catch him sometimes but he makes up for it with his dribbling and his 5 star skills. I use Hunter on him to make him even sweatier and boost his shooting. With Hunter he has 99 Pace and 92 Shooting (88 Long Shots, 99 Shot Power and 89 Finishing). This makes him a bit overpowered shooting wise and pace wise. Short passes is the best chance of getting him the ball as he isn't overly strong in the air.

Shooting:

His shooting stats are obviously better than the ones on other midfielders in Ligue 1. He is clinical inside the box and finishes nearly every chance he gets on his strong foot, his weak foot varies. With Hunter it gives him 89 Finishing and 88 Long Shots which means he scores plenty goals from literally anywhere on his strong foot sometimes even his weak foot.

Passing:

His passing is still good especially considering that his original card is a RW. With 82 Vision and 85 Short Passes you can easily play him in CM if you really wanted to even though he is still in position he is a better attacker. He even makes it to pass nice through balls to the Striker or over the top to the other Winger.

Dribbling:

Now we come to his criminal stat. His Dribbling I would compare to Messi's, short quick strides and very agile. 88 Dribbling combined with his 5* skills make him a magician. He is fast and agile that it is hard for the defender to know what he is going to do next. You can easily react to the defensive tactics of the opponent and change the direction to get past the defenders. Probably Di Maria is one of the best players for 1v1 situations because you can just get past the player and shoot.
