I make this SBC to use Toure like CDM but i think that in this position is better Kante, but for a CM I love it, like a Nainggolan in Premier League. Good chemestry with Bailly and Aurier IF. He is a little slow in fast movements for his agility.

I was hoping for a fut birthday yaya all fifa 18 and finally we got him. First of all I want to say that it's was nice of ea to give him away for only 40k or less if you have untradables. A bit of a shame that I can't do van persie anymore but it's alright. I used him in a 4321 as the right cm with hunter. I instructed him to get forward.

Pace 7.5/10: He is quite fast with hunter and has more than enough pace for a cm. So this should not be an issue.

Shooting 10/10: Oh boy yaya really knows how to shoot. His finishing is on point and his longshots stat is an absolute lie. Feels like 99 and not like 82. Probably because he has the long shot taker trait. He will score a lot of screamers for you. Also great at freekickts but you have to get used to his kind ot freekicks. His curve shots also find the net more often than not.

Passing 9/10: His passing has everything you need as a cm in my formation. great short and long passes and vision. 84 does not look to great but that is because of his 70 crossing. That's why i decided not to boost his passing with a chem style and he really does not need any boost there.

Dribbling 7/10: If you expect a messi like dribbling you will be dissapointed. Because of his height he has low agility and does not turn very fast. But if you know how to control him it is not a big issue. Ball controll is great and he barley maked bad touches.

Defending 7.5/10: Without a boost in defending he is very decent at it. Wins the ball quite a lot and with his 99 strenght he outmuscled everyone so far. Interceptions seems a bit low at 68 but it was not a problem for me espacially because i have 2 other defensive minded cm's.

Phy 9/10: 99 Strenght. Not really much to say about this but he is the strongest player i have ever used. At first i thought his stamina could be a bit of a problem but it was fine for 90 mins. In extra time i would recommend to sub him.

Noticed the other review posted on here might as well have been slandering this beast of a card, and thought I'd hop on here to set things straight about FUTBirthday Toure. First of all, if you're on the fence about doing Toure or Rooney, I can promise Toure is the better choice. Nearly a member of the Gullit gang, he offers a huge, all rounder type CM that the BPL had yet to offer on this game at 6 foot 3 inches tall and with exceptional pace, passing (he completes everything), attacking runs, strength, headers, and overall presence on the pitch. He's also a competent defender and finisher. I'm using him with a basic chem style as the Right side CM of a 4321 formation, and he's been a game changer for me. While you'll likely replace the Rooney card as soon as another ST Son or Jesus/Auba IF comes out, Yaya will be a fixture in your team likely until TOTS.

This Yaya Toure card is amazing. It plays exactly like Vieira, and is a fraction of the cost (it was free for me). Defensively he will win the ball back for you more often than not, and he wins pretty much everything in the air. His short and long passing is good, his passes are seldom misplaced, and it takes a Kante-level interception to stop them. He will regularly pop in and around the box, and is a frequent goal-scorer, mostly from set pieces or with late runs to tap-in a rebound. To those who see his agility as a con, this is not a problem. His dribbling is enough to secure the ball and get it to your play-maker. Toure is not a jet fighter, he is the aircraft carrier - your base and foundation. Use him as such, and leave the sweat for the attackers.

I use him as a box-to-box CM with Engine, but wherever you deploy him (CDM, CM, CAM) he dominates.

For those that don't know what Yaya was like a few FIFAs ago, think Bakayoko with offense and much better dribbling. I really love this card. The med-med work rates won't have him doing a ton of defensive work on his own, but he's a great option for people who aren't afraid to manually get stuck in on a tackle when needed. He's a bit like Rijkaard @ CDM in that he more or less absorbs the ball when you're in a good position to jockey and/or tackle; especially the latter. Of course you'll need to time it right, but he WILL dispossess the attacker if your timing and positioning are correct.

I play him @ CDM in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2). I admit I'm manually controlling him a lot more than someone like Kante, but it's so nice to have an attacking option when he's found his way upfield like CDMs tend to. At that position he's not going to score a lot, but he starts the attack better than anyone I've used at that position I've used so far.
