The defender your left flank deserves

Too often, when you think of the best leftbacks in FIFA18, you leave Filipe Luis out of the discussion, mostly because of his all-around unimpressive card. But make no mistake, the man is a beast.

At first, I was hesitating between him and Marcelo for a Liga-themed team. I was about to choose the latter but then, without knowing really why, I decided to give the guy a try. I wanted to see if he would be just like in real life: an all-rounded, above averagely skilled leftback but most of all, a goddam tank on the D. Let me tell you one thing: I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. The man is always where you wished your defense was when that filthy Dembélé runs into space and he just keeps on piling up the tackles and interceptions. I got him an anchor style and the guy just became the frickin wall of china.

Seriously just buy him, and your sweaty nightmares are gone on that part of the field.

Absolute defense beast. Use anchor style for best results

Not the best dribbler but low balance give him a smooth running which makes it pretty hard to stop

More difficult to create opportunities through dribbling, compared to the likes of alaba or marcelo.
