Dimitri payet is awesome

I have appreciated people writing reviews on FUTBIN for a while and the time has come for me to give back to the community. I feel very privileged to be the first to review this card, I also believe I will be amongst the first to have obtained the swap card via the SBC as many will be saving up for sanchez etc. I think people should get this card for the reasons outlined below.

For the purposes of chemistry Payet is a CM in a 4-3-2-1 he then plays CAM After a formation change of 4-1-2-1-2 .

I believe this card is one of the best CAM'S On the game, he is well balanced and his shooting, dribbling and passing stats make him the perfect CAM. i have used him for 49 games so far 40 in weekend league and he has scored 29 goals with 14 assists. He often carried my team which featured SIF son and TOGS Mbappe. What I liked most was the elegant way his dribbling felt, the high ball control and dribbling meant he could comfortably control the ball in tight situations which as a CAM is very key. I applied the hunter chemistry style which I believe is perfect for him. His positioning was awesome , I like the high/low workrates as they were perfect for counters, he can drift around people with ease. If you remember his CAM card in fifa 17, then this is almost identical. The 78 Strength coupled with his high dribbling stats means he is very hard to knock off the ball, I’m a strong dribbler meaning I could frustrate people with him. I must also mention the 92 curve which made finesse shots very nice to score with him. For me the 4* WF felt more like a 4.5* I was very confident in shooting with his left foot and scored some quality goals with it.

Moving on to the minor cons, the first one is his reactions, on his card it is 77 which I was initially concerned about, I must say it didn’t appear this way at all, I think the high dribbling and ball control almost remove this con in my opinion, there haven’t been any times so far that payet should have reacted quicker, even when defending he intercepted the ball countless times, I can’t complain at all.

His stamina is on the low side however with the high/low work rate he doesn’t come back on the defence, I also put his instructions on get forward and free roam which does affect his stamina along with the fact that I work him to the bone when using him.

Overall an amazing card and I recommend him highly, at 4 Swap players he is very “cheap” , his French nation means he can link with many favourites on the game therefore hybrid friendly.
