Shockingly Good...

I packed this Joe Hart card and decided I would try it out for nostalgia's sake before I sold it. I mean, Joe Hart was England keeper and Man City keeper for a long time before he fell out of favor, and I though het deserved a few more tries between the sticks. Spoiler alert: After 10 games I sold my gold De Gea and gave Joe Hart the first team job.

This card's stats don't necessarily tell the whole story about in-game performance. On my squad, Hart is surrounded by Icon and Special defenders, so he's got a lot of coverage.when they get beat, though, he's usually very exposed and is either reacting to a snap shot inside the box from a top player (Ronaldo, Messi, etc) or a one-on-one. His positioning and reflexes mean that he ends up saving most of these attempts, frequently catching them instead of deflecting them. He's also appropriately aggressive (unlike Kasper Schmeichel, who is crazy aggressive)--he'll come out to challenge for the ball when it's appropriate otherwise he stays in his area.

He does get beat by long shots more often than De Gea, which means I have to make sure I'm challenging and containing players outside the area. Inside the 18 yard box, however, he's magical.
