Got this guy in my tots pack so thought i'd try him. After 23 games he's got me 29 goals so must be doing something right. His finishing is quality always seems to be able to put it away and surprisingly his finesse shots from outside the box are decent as well. Has the odd fluff with his shooting but that is expected from most cards. His hold up play is on another level always there for the quick one twos, he got me 30 assists already so can play it through quite well once hes held it up as well. Dont be put off by his 84 acceleration, he feels quicker than that in game and when hes at full speed hes rapid. A heel to heel flick will get him to top speed instantly. Headers ive only really noticed from corners as I dont really cross the ball but hes scored a few of them and wins 9/10 headers from goal kicks, even against bailly. He can hold pretty much anyone off the ball and helps if you have dynamic, agile runners around him to play off.

Agility is not as much of a problem as youd think, obviously hes not amazing but drag backs and ball rolls are quick with him and once hes at pace he can change direction 45 degrees relatively easily.

The one thing that would put me off buying him is that hes not going to be one of those players who can save you if your losing in the weekend league, hes not going to do a mad run or score from anywhere on the pitch but if you're better than your opponent, he will definitely punish them. Thats not to say he wont win you games you shouldn't really in because as I said he will finish in the box nearly every time and theres always 90th minute corners.

Overall, I'd recommend trying him out because he wont suit some peoples play style, I had to change mine a bit to use more key passes and through balls because he does make fantastic runs, rather than pass it around the box of my opponent and wait for an opportunity to run through, make your defense splitting passes nearer the halfway line and you should be fine.

For the price however, there are probably better strikers out there but as I said try him out for 10 games, if you dont like him, sell him before he drops in price.

First off, if you can buy him, GO FOR HIM. I have tried striker like tots firminho, Vardy and gomez and none of them can be compared to Lukaku.

PACE PACE PACE:

Lukaku feels as fast as vardy in game, his acceleration is not even a problem and he reaches his 98 sprint speed very quickly.

SHOOTING:

He's shooting is one of the best in game, the 97 shot power along 98 finishing gives no chance to the keeper. His 82 long shots along with the shot power makes them unstoppable. His curve is a lie, any curved shot will finish in the back of the net. If you compare his shooting to 95 Suarez for example, it is a lot better.

Dribbling:

Lukaku's dribbling is not the best due to his balance and agility, but the 99 reactions makes him so reactive in the box that he moves instantly to get a shot on goal. The 99 composure on this card makes him so calm in front of goal that he almost never miss.

PHYSICALITY:

Lukaku feels like a bus, he is the only player in the game who can push bailly and make him fall to the ground. The 99 strength combined with the 81 agression makes him unstoppable, once he is past a player there is no way can catch up to him. Also his 80 jumping with 99 heading accuracy makes him a god in the air, he never miss a header, and if he is in the box it is a goal 99% of the time.

PASSING:

Lukaku's passing is perfect, his hold up play is so good that he could even play as a cam. His 90 short passing and 86 long passing is so good and made him get 11 assists in 19 games as a striker.

If you have the coins go for him, pair him up with a fast striker and watch him win you games easily. If you play him up with tots Vardy or potm Zaha you WILL WIN GAMES and score goals without you even trying.
