When I got him through SBC with a guaranteed player from the team of the season, I wasn't very excited about him, mostly because of his pace. And that was a BIG mistake! This man is great! At the beggining I used him as CM in 4-1-2-1-2(2) and he was pretty good, but not as good as 96-rated card. Then I started playing him as CAM in 4-1-2-1-2 formation and it was definitely a good choice. He played way better on this position and usually ended a match with 9.0 or higher note.

Pace: Well, he's not Aubameyang, but the feels way faster than 60 sprint speed, even with the basic chemistry style. And if you give him Shadow, his pace is pretty good.

Shooting: 98 shot power, 99 long shots and 86 finishing... That's all about it. His shooting is excellent, his shots feels like you're playing a good icon, or 90+ rated striker.

Passing: Well, I expected them to be good when they're 99 rated, but they were just too good. Nearly all of his passes are incredibly accurate. He can always pass the ball to the striker even when it seems to be impossible.

Dribbling: Also really good, for a midfielder it's all what you need.

Defence: Not his strongest ability, but still quite good. His tackles are good, interceptions as well.

Physicality: He's pretty strong and also quite tall what helpes him in tackles or duels with faster but weaker defenders. Tough player.

I played Kroos at LCM in 41212 narrow due to his 5 star weekfoot and he has been a massive impact to my team. He seems to turn up everywhere, coming out of nowhere to score sweaties in the box, making great interceptions in the midfield and sometimes pulling out wide to add width to the attack.

Pace - Although his pace is low, with a chemistry style like shadow or hunter he gets a nice 90 acceleration and actually doesn't feel very slow. Due to his strength he can often push faster players away so he can be quite hard to catch

Shooting - His shooting is excellent, the power on his long shots means he always seems to hit the top corners. He can bang it either foot meaning you can be unpredictable outside the box. I'd reccomend doing power shots but his finesse shots are excellent also. He's also scored some excellent volleys from outside the box for me. He also never chokes a shot and is the most consistent finsher I've used this Fifa due to his 99 composure.

Passing - His passing is amazing, he hits it like Paul Scholes back in the day and can find a ping from anywhere and on either foot. He has great crossing so when he does peel out wide he delivers right onto somebodies head. His crossing's been so good he's even made Neymar score a couple headers for me with his accuracy. He's excellent at free kicks with that side run up which seems so good this year and his corners are great if you've got the bigmen in the box.

Dribbling - Kroos has been making amazing runs from deep for me to the edge of the box due to his silky touches and amazing dribbling. He has decent agility and balance for a bug guy so can turn very easily and with good acceleration heavy first touches can be really effective.

Defending - His defending is decent although it's nothing amazing. He tackles well but his interceptions are amazing, he will intercept all types of passes through the midfield and will always intercept and start a counter attack when you need it.

Physical - Kroos is a big guy and with his 84 strength he can muscle a lot of players of the ball. At CM you don't notice his strength much against other CM's, but at CDM he really muscles a load of CAM's when they've got the ball. He also has lasted the full 90 minutes many times and always puts in a shift.

He is my squad's key player.

A deep lying midfielder who control the rhythm of the game, always in the right space and when he gets the ball the other players tend to create better space (probably because of playmaker trait).

His passing is probably one of the best in game. Short/Long/One touch/Through ball, he does all like magic. Everything seems easy when he is there.

His Pace, not so good but not much a problem (for me) because he can control the ball and dribble very well with great reaction so he passes the ball before being intercepted.

Shooting, do not hesitate to press shoot when there is space and with 5*WF you can bang from anywhere.

Defense, much better than expected, I was confident with his standing and tackle and he does intercept and create a quality counter attach so often.

He creates the beauty of your procession.

Note: If you are planning to place him as CDM, I would recommend to have another big aggressive CDM beside him. Or just play him as CM but too slow for CAM.

Packing him out of the laliga tots sbc, i was really hyped to get the 4th highest rated laliga tots player but the problem is when I saw his pace, i got a bit discouraged to use the card. However, i gave him a shot in a online season game and boy he showed that he is the real MVP. I put an anchor on him( Since shadow is extinct on ps4..), and he played sensational. In game i changed my formation to 4-2-2-2 with kroos in the cdm. His passing was like Pirlo end of an era, shooting like pogba, and his strength seemed much more than 84. His pace also was suprisingly good, With a shadow, his acceleration goes up to 90 and sprint speed up to 70. Also, he is pretty agile for a cdm/cm with 83 agility. The only downside of this card was that he could not dribble much( 3* sm) and his aggression and heading is bad. Overall, I think that this card for 280k on PS4 is a bargain.
