I honestly am lost for words on how incredible this item is. Before his Team of the Season item I had never used him and didn't really know what the hype was about. I packed him through the Bundesliga Upgrade SBCs and was going crazy when I packed him because his base stats are absolutely incredible. He's the best midfielder in the game. I started using him off the bench and I knew immediately how great he was, when he started my games he felt even better. His Pace is a big factor to how he is so good, He can create a chance up top then track back in-time for any counters. His Shooting is sublime, especially from outside the box, just amazing. Passing is very strong and accurate, I'm pretty sure he's completed around 95% of total passes so far for me! He literally controls the game when he's on the pitch.

I use him in a 4231 as my second CDM together with Vieira Prime. He is just INSANE!

I searched for a CDM with H/H workrates because I wanted someone that can do his job at the defense and is usefull at attacking.

Goretzka is everything I´ve been looking for. He is way better than Vieira Prime because of his offensive power and his abilities in the defense.

Just use ANC chemstyle and this card is overall perfect.

After liquidating my club into guarantees and getting zilch I had just enough coins to upgrade from the PTG Goretzka. His card art was very attractive especially with the dashing haircut so i just had to pick him up. From then on i was very disapointed. He played very similar to his PTG and didn't do anything that made me think 'wow this card is special' like I had done many times with the PTG. Maybe I had too high expectations.

So i packed him from monthly rewards and picked up my team to try. After 30 match im so disappointed. Have a lot of cons. So first his shooting is awful. After 30 games i score only 2 goals with him and both of them inside the box. I have Gullit in the other side he scores me a lot of long shots but goretzka not able to do it. Deffensive was solid imo. Heading is avarage. He's strength is awful. But he's got a major PRO. He can run out everyone very good catching the opponent's. Afterwall imo not worth it. Sorry for my bad english.

I don't understand half the players in this game? I've used the likes of Begovic, Bailey, Walker, NIF Goretzka and they're all crap for me. I use the likes of William Carvalho and he plays a million times better. I use Martial and Gabriel Jesus and both are as useful as a chocolate fire guard. I use Brahimi and Dost instead and they play like absolute beasts. It makes no sense to me.

I've played against this card so many times and its always OP. I use it and he's rubbish. Can't defend, can't pass, can't shoot, very weak, feels really really slow. He's just such a terrible player. I had TOTS Casemiro and I thought he was lacking a bit of pace. Decided that Goretzka might be the answer because he looks like an absolute beast, but in the end I'm surprised he can even lace his boots.

Really not worth the money. In Div 1 and Weekend League, not worth it. 450k for something that a 40k player can do better than (William Carvalho btw) just not worth it.
