Spanish R9 Ronaldo

So, I decided to sell my icon cards and buy these classic hero cards instead. At this point in time the game is pretty much dead and EA don't give a fuck what happens to the market. The prices are all over the place. I bought Torres for 600k he's now going for around 400k. Obsiously I didn't buy these players for the investment, i'm simply trying to have some fun with the game before it's completely dead.

This Torres card is pretty much broken in every aspect. He's almost exactly the same as R9 Ronaldo 96 icon card. In fact, he's even better at positioning. Even his 4 star weak foot feels like a 5 star weak foot. Obviously he doesn't have the same dribbling as R9 ronaldo but who cares, this is an out and out striker. He doesn't need it.

This is Torres in his very prime, his days at Liverpool. In my opinion this is the best striker card in the game. A no-bullshit pure striker with an eye for goal. Power, pace, movement, strength and finishing. A complete card with no flaws. I played him up front with David Villa. He scored 19 goals in 8 matches with 11 assists. I wish this card was in the game from the very start of FIFA 18. This is what his icon card will look like in a couple of years. Torres is 34 years old now and will retire very soon. I hope we get this icon card from the start of FIFA 2020.

"El Niño"

I was really lucky packing him on the untradeable FoF SBC and I decided to change my squad a little bit so I could try him out.

If you played FIFA17 you must remember that Premium SBC of Fernando Torres alongside with David Luiz and El Shaarawy, they were really overpowered cards and also they had a beautiful design, that Torres card was super clinical, strong and also very fast. Well, I had that Premium Torres back in the day and this card right here is almost as good as him.

This pinky Torres is strong and fast, he is great at finishing and positioning as well, he can make really good long shots and also he can hold the ball really well.

One of the things you can really tell is his low balance, he is not very good at making quick turns and also he fell sometimes clunky, but once you are in the right direction, he is really hard to stop, he keeps the ball really close to his feet and he can easily go through any deffense.

His low balance and his low stamina are the two things that put him 1 step behind the FIFA17 Premium Torres. In order to get the best out of him, you need to change your mindset a little bit every time he gets the ball if you are use to quick players, I personally have TOTS Agüero right next to him on a 4222 formation so if a I need quick turns and responses, I give the ball to Agüero, if I need more time to build up a play, Torres is my man.

Overall he is a great card and a really good striker, there are probably better options and it depends of your build up game style, I think... at this stage of FIFA it is ok to try as much players as you can, is a little overprice imo, his price should be maybe in the 380K-420K range. I don't know, it depends on your ability to get the best of him I guess in order to put a real price on this card.

THE GOAT TORRES

This Torres card is an incredible player. My team is already stacked so I bought this card just to try him out and I wasn't disappointed. His finishing is amongst the best on the game and you can expect him to tuck most chances away. Give him a Half chance and he will score. The only issue with this card is the pace. He runs fast but his acceleration feels bad. He seems to reach full face slowly. For a more comprehensive review check out my channel "SR7 Productions" for a review video.

But hey, he scores and assists more than you can imagine!
