90 - FOF
I have had an english team for the past couple months. Due to the new cards and the hype from the worldcup i attempted to shift from a 4-3-2-1 with pace to a 5-3-2 to mimic how we played in the world cup. I an in division 2/1 currently and i can tell you that trippier after a bit of a slow start is amazing.
Crossing - Just like real life his crossing is immense. Have a target man striker and you will have some fun.
Long passing - over the tops and other long passes accross the pitch are perfect. Great for switching the play or for playing in a fast striker.#
Short passing - not a major talking point. does as you expect.
Positioning - Both offence and defence he tends to be where you need him. Sometimes he is missing from the position but asking a player to run backwards and forwards all game is bound to have the odd issue.
stand tackle - As good as i have used.
slide tackle - i try to avoid sliding with my wide defenders but if you need it works.
Stamina - Will run all game every game.
Finishing - an odd one but has scored a couple of goals in the box for me. a nice surprise.
Long shots - scored a longshot (thought he was lingard!) another nice surprise.
Pace - missing on the traits that make players feel super fast. But he is still very quick.
Dribbling - His dribbling isn't terrible. Infact it is actually quite good. But if you try turning to beat a defender it wont work. An issue sometimes for a RWB.
Strength - Again he is strong. But there will be times he is outmatched and outclassed by some of the bigger cards (as you would expect)
Freekicks (shooting) - I will admit i suck at freekicks regardless. But i have had 2/3 players where they are almost always perfect. Trippier comes close every time but hasnt scored. So for me a con.
All in All this Trippier as a RWB is as good as you could want. A great representation of the man in real life and holds up well in game as a RWB. As a RB however you are probably better off with Walker.
