This man saved my weekend league. After having gone 14-3, I ended up losing 6 in a row, and at one point my record was 16-11. I rage sold my team and bought Blanc for the RCM position in a 41212(2) and he did wonders! Not only does he have 21 goals in 19 games, he is also such a good defender. He works hard up and down the field and wins the ball back so often. His pace feels more than 83 and his 86 finishing is not lying. His dribbling also surprised me, he can glide past players with ease.

I´m not much of a skiller, so his 2* skills did not bother me much, but his 3* weak foot did. His long shots are not the best as well, but anywhere in the box is a danger. His heading is okay but nothing to rave about, he does win 90% of headers from goal kicks but he does not score a lot with his head. 86 Stamina is really nice as well, he really surprised me, I only got him because I could not afford Vieira or Gullit, and I doubt I will sell him anytime soon.

I did the base icon SBC and was initially disappointed with blanc showing up on my screen, but after quite a few games with Laurent, I feel like the luckiest guy on Earth! He can literally do anything you want, from passing to tackling to his mad dribbles. I use him with an engine chem style and he glides past any defender that gets in his way! I’m not a great player and he’s doing well for me so he will do well for you, I’m sure.

"Blanc does everything well, nothing poorly and nothing great, but you get the chemistry" - that's my summary after playing around 50+ games with Blanc.

This guy is huge, he's tall and can hit a lot of headers, but he doesn't have a lot of accuracy there - I think I did only one goal header actually. But defending in the sky, this guy is the master. He will win all header in defense! so, if you have short CMs and you need that extra tall guy helping in the sky defense, he's perfect for that. He's fast, but not strong, so depending on what you want to do with him might change drastically the chem style you'll use. His work rate makes him do better at defense, but he's stats are more suited for attacking I would say, since physical is not great, but dribbling, passing and pace are good. Long shots too, all good (but not great).

I bought him because I wanted a complete CDM, a guy that rule the mid field and stop strikers on getting near the box, but at the same time agile and accurate enough to do great passes in offense and shoot or take a header once in a while. He kind of fit perfect there, more in the CDM part, BUT, he's slow and he's strength and aggression are low as well - so I decided to go with Anchor chem on him, and then he started shining as CDM, he's height and his long legs help him to tackle and intercept attacker easily - I guess if you add a Hawk/Engine/Hunter/Catalyst could be use as CM/CAM and be VERY effective at attacking as well, but remember he'll try to come back to help on defense rather than attacking because of his work rates, so this is not the the typical end-to-end mid fielder that you might be looking for, such as a Vidal, Petit, etc.

After a while, I decided to change him with Kante, I didn't needed the extra chemistry links that I was getting from him and Kante is faster and stronger (better CDM specifically for sure), and WAY more cheap - so now I'm looking to use the coins to invest and get something better in the offense.

If you don't have any crack Icon CM, such as Petit, Vieria or Rijkaard - then this is the cheapest and best bet to work chem links and get a hell good CM.

this card is crazy crazy good!

you can play him as cm and cdm and even better if you have toty bonucci like me you can use a hunter on bonucci(his stats to use him as cdm are sick! ill make a review of bonucci in a while) and an anchor on blanc and switch their positions in game. you will have a perfect cdm and one of the best cb in the game. As I say before i used blanc 85 almost 200 matches as a cdm and with his high defense work hate and med to attack make him a very good investment.

His long shots are good and his passes are even better and his defenses stats I dont need to talk much about it. it is almost perfect.

Easily the best baby(?) icon card on the game. he is amazing at almost everytihing. physical, running,defending, his shooting is pretty good aswell. his passing could be better i think. not as accurate as you would hope but it is decent anyway. he is tall and i do not lose many air battles with this guy it feels like he is winning every duel in the air. on my half or the opponents box on corners he wins them almost everytime. great box to box player. been using him as ha cm the whole time and he is very solid.
