The Midfield Maestro

I used Ander Herrera for almost 40 games (WL and SB (Legendary/Ultimate) and I can say that he is such an AMAZING CM! As his attributes may suggest, he is an ALL AROUND PLAYER, and suits perfectly my 4-3-2-1 formation since he helps efficiently either on attacking and defensive moves

I don't think chemistry styles make a lot of difference in game, but I use him with MAESTRO card and his shooting was just EXCELLENT!!

I see some people saying that is slow, it is pure BULLSHIT, he's fast enough if you know how to play fifa and don't use the sprint button for the whole 90' minutes of the game. I will definitely keep him for a long time on my squad (link on the review), and would only think on swapping him with POGBA maybe.

I STRONGLY recommend him for ANY BPL squad and hybrid ones. Trust me and give this beast a try, you guys will not be disappointed!

Excellent short and long passes

Good dribbling (enough for his position)

Great long shots (with the right timming he almost never misses)

Good finishing

Helps a lot with defense (Interceptions/Standing tackles)

Pace (Only if you are a pace abuser and don't know how to play with CM)

Strong (He is not strong but his tackles makes up for him)

84 Herrera Review

Ander Herrera was used in my Weekend League side as the right Center Midfielder in a 41212(2). While his stats suggest that he is a well-rounded, capable card, his performance for me was largely unimpressive. I don't want to sound like a pace dependent f*ck here, but he really lets you down when you are trying to start an attack. He just feels really slow, and his dribbling, despite being 81, did not impress me. This may be due to the pace problem. At 6 feet tall, you would expect him to be a decent physical presence but I actually avoided him on goal kicks as I found out that he can't win a header to save his life. The 4 star skills help boost his appeal, but you could do a lot better than him for 25k ish.

High/High work rates are good, in combination with 87 stamina
Dribbling felt all right when in open space
Had a few good interceptions (86 rating).
Shooting isn't bad. Hit the post on a tough long shot. Other than that, wasn't really relevant in the attack.

Strength (70) really lets him down. Feels very weak. Can't muscle off defenders.
Sprint Speed (70) is awful. Feels very sluggish. I would recommend not sprinting with him. Keep it controlled.
Heading Accuracy (60) and Jumping (63). Awful.
