We are just at the start of FIFA 18, and loads of great cheap players are to be discovered. But today, I will try to give my honest, un-biased opinion of Kylian Mbappé, the 18 year old kid from Bondy, France who just signed at Paris Saint-Germain on a year long loan with a 180 million euro buy clause.

This card might be the MOST EXPENSIVE 83 rated card in the history of FIFA Ultimate Team, but boy, is it good.

I played with the regular gold version for about 10 games, next to Cavani, but it seemed like Cavani didn't let Mbappé breathe.

Then i switched to the 4-3-3 (3) and he did wonders. For me, the combination of his tidy dribbling plus his amazing acceleration and his very correct 79 strenght ( with Hawk chem style ) make him the best player i've used in FIFA 18. He makes the most amazing runs and when you combine him with great passers like Matic or Willian, you are sure to win 9 out of 10 games.

Now lets check his in game stats.

90 PAC : With the Hawk chemistry style, he actually goes up to 99 Acceleration and 95 Sprint Speed, and you do feel it, the only defender that actually caught up to him was Sergio Ramos, and let's face it, isn't that normal?

80 SHO : His already amazing 87 finishing with a Basic chem. style, becomes a 92 Finishing with the Hawk, and he just does not miss. If he is through on to goal, his low driven shot is precise as can be, and when a winger cuts in, he is perfectly placed thanks to his 89 attack positioning ( Hawk ).

74 PAS : He is a great transition striker, the one-two's with Fekir or Martial were super effective, and he didn't really need his long passing, since he seemed to always be perfectly placed to shoot.

84 DRI : Kylian Mbappé manages to really drive defenders crazy by weaving in and out, and manages to squeeze tight dribbling in the area. He also has 4* Skills and 87 Ball Control, clearly unstoppable.

51 DEF : Occasionaly tracks back due to his Medium defending workrate and sometimes wins the ball back. Overall as you would expect from a striker.

74 PHY : Surprising. His stamina is great and his aggressionquite low, however he feels strong once he has the first step over a defender. Heading non existent.

4* WF : Great weak foot, feels like 5* to me.

4* SM : Great skiller, quick execution of Stop and Turn and basic 4* skill moves.

Overall, i'm in love with this card, and his OTW will stay in my club until the end of FIFA 18.

This year mbappe is one of the best strikers. I got his OTW out a two rare gold players pack. It was perfect because I was searching for a new striker.

How did I use him. I used him in a 4-3-1-2 wit Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino (My personal best cam this year). Gabriel had after 20 games around 20 goals and 15 assist and Firmino had 10 goals and 30 assist. Here is the full squad https://www.futbin.com/18/squad/281247

Which chemistry style did I use? I used finisher because I wanted to boost his strenght. First he felt weak, after that he felt a lot stronger and with the +15 jumping he had some awesome heading goals. I thought his pace was already great, The only defender that actually caught up to him where I played against was Bellerin.

So I had done Cavani SBC and needed a strong link to him to get the full chem.I bought Neymar and used him for a few WL games.Though he was good but had some thing lacking,missed a lot of easy chances and was weak. I was disappointed.Thought why not give this NIF Mbappe a go. First game 2 critical goals,outside box finesse shots in the top bin, that got me excited. Used him the whole WL mostly as ST with Cavani in 4321 or as wide LCAM in 4231.He excelled at both. Has great sprint speed and dribbling to get away from the defender. He aint weak either. Plus he has got a great shot.Used him with a hunter and he didnt look out of place in a team with prime Del p and Sbc Cavani. Definitely worth the price.Can imagine his OTW to be even crazier.
