Poor man's De Gea

Bought this guy in the process of testing out cheap GKs from the BPL while waiting for De Gea to drop in price. Previously used Schmeichel, Butland and Hart, but this guy... He's been simply amazing, saving my ass multiple times, whether it was a 1 on 1, a long shot, a header after a set piece. Very solid, no silly mistakes for me. Worth trying out for 850 he's currently at.

Will protect your goal better than a chastity belt would protect your daughter

No good strong links (poor country and club), therefore not too useful in hybrids

BEGOVIC THE NEW BUTLAND

I packed him, in that moment i was without goalkeeper, so i have just tried him.

Since that moment i didn't take him off. His really good.

I can compare it with butland in fifa 17.

He is good in save from long distance, and short too. Really good reflexes.

I think is ideal for cheap team

After patch hero

I'm not sure what happened with Begovic after the last patch (January, 2018), but he became a beast! I faced him in my second match after the patch and it was tuff... Since he is very cheap I decided to give it a try and I do not regret, after 10 matches he only has conceded 4 goals (3 from corners and one from a one on one situation).

Very happy with him and considering selling my Courtouis!

Saves with feet

Begovic has the best possible goalkeeper trait in the entire game. 'Saves with feet' this alone has saved me a number of time and has probably saved me a few controllers aswell.

He makes the usual saves but his height and traits make him an unstopable keeper. Only cost me about 750 coins so no reason not to try him out. Only goal keeper I could see being better than this is De Gea who is 250K+ at this point. I have played many games against Courtois and have to say he doesn't look very good often my Begovic has outplayed him all game long.

At this moment in time my defence is Mendy, Otamendi, Kompany and Aurier so this is not an expensive or spectacular defence yet I still concede a lot less frequently than before I had Begovic.

Having used Butland, Hart and many other keepers including Ederson who is 3k Begovic is the best of the bunch.
