Underrated beast
By itsOnlyMarc, 03-10-2017

Mesa is a card that I picked up doing my non-rare starter squad. His stats speak for themselves when you take that in to account.

What I didn't expect was for him to carry on being a very usable and viable player throughout building a better team. His 77 pace and dribbling do not do him justice (although I did use engine on his card)

As long as you don't expect him to score goals this guy is solid defending and at pushing forward from defense. His passing is also great and he rarely makes mistakes.

Also with 92 Stamina you don't have to worry about him gassing out too early in the game.

His only set back that I noticed myself was a lack of strength but wasn't much of an issue for me.

Faster than he looks.

The Moustached Maestro

OK, so this guy is basically a master wizard in the defensive midfield arena.

As a Swans fan, I normally purchase a whole Swansea team at the start of every FIFA, try them out and see who's worth using competitively. (They normally end up rotting in the club).

THIS YEAR, However! Has proven to be something different. When I first started using him, I was mightily impressed! I threw him in my competitive FUT Champs team and GOODNESS GRACIOUS GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!

But his best stat is his interceptions. Admittedly, it's only '80', which isn't exactly outstanding, but IN GAME! Holy Krapfen! Unbelievable. He reminds me of that Spanish character from Adam Sandler's 'Mr Deeds'

"Sneaky Sneaky sir...."

*De Bruyne runs up the middle, see's Aguero running through on goal, De Bruyne releases the ball with both pace and precision, BUT WAIT! "Sneaky sneaky sir!" MESA INTERCEPTS

*Mesi runs down the wing, See's Suarez waiting in the box, Mesi rounds the full back, lays the ball across the box for Luis...BUT WAIT "Sneaky sneaky sir!"

Well...you get the point. If Mesa isn't in your team, your team is Krapfen filled with crap! So far he's played 106 games for me and I'm still firmly a Mesa fanboy!

He has 89 short and 80 long passing, so he's very good at playing the ball out from the back.

His 77 pace is deceiving, he runs like he's mid 80s, and his shooting is very good despite a 61 overall. (His long shots from outside the box are always accurate and powerful).

He has 89 balance, which means he isn't getting pushed over easily.

He has 92 stamina and 92 aggression, which means he's running around like a raging bull on speed without getting tired.

Despute 61 Shooting, I've scored some crackers with this guy from outside the box!

Strength, but his 92 aggression makes up well for it!

Absolute beast. He never gives the ball away and can win it back easily. The fact that he's so small makes him so agile and nippy, which helps on the ball and off it. His old school tucked in shirt and slick back hair make him all the more usable. The anchor chemistry style really compliments him as he is quick and fairly strong. He's my favourite player to use in a cheap team. If he gets an IF I will buy it immediately, beast. His shooting is a bit of a problem but as a CDM it doesn't matter too much, although he did score a nice long shot in one of my games.
