Underappreciated

I received Rudiger in a free pack and slapped a Shadow chemistry style on him. Overall, I was very pleased with Antonio Rudiger’s performance. With the Shadow chemistry style, his overall rating goes to an 89. He already had great physical stats, so I thought he could use the extra pace. Rarely was he ever caught out of position, although he does have High/Medium workrates. I thought that would be a problem, but for me at least, it isn’t. His height is a blessing. Having someone able to win headers consistently at 6’2” and 6’3” with decent jumping is always nice. The negatives would be his stamina and dribbling. He might need a sub towards the end of games due to lack of stamina sometimes. However, this hasn’t been too big a deal with defenders for me in FIFA 18 with my slow and methodical play style. It conserves a lot of his longevity on the pitch. If you’re looking for a good center back with dribbling or passing, he is simply not your guy. He is a rock in defense and can make a decent short pass and that’s it. I should say I’ve used Rudiger in Online Seasons and Weekend League. If you are looking for a super sub in WL, I high suggest him.
