Great player to use overall for box to box. Weakness can be seen offensively but makes up for it hugely defensively. Can see myself using him for a while, especially with CDMs in my formation.

I used him as a CDM, and "Stay back while attacking" <-- THAT is for me the game changer with him, it was after a couple of games i changed it. Because if u dont, he will come forward, AND I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT SHOOT WITH THIS GUY, he has scored a couple of goals for me, ALL HEADERS, he cant hit shit with longshots, or even 1 on 1. But when u make sure that he doesnt come forward, this is where he becomes important, he breaks so many counter-attacks, win so many headers, and he can catch up with some pretty fast plays, cus he aint that slow!

Two weeks after the release of FIFA18, I packed Gundogan and Bakayoko. I tried them both and ended up selling Gundogan, but eventho Bakayoko was worth about 30k, I decided to keep him, and it was worth it.
Since the day I packed him, I´ve played almost 700 games with him, and I never get tired of him. First of all, his stats are a total lie. He can stop lots of amazing players no matter how strong or fast they are. He Intercepts almost every ball that goes near him and can save you the match many many times. He can win headers, and he´s not too slow for it to be annoying. Conclusion: If you just bought the game or need a fresh new cheap Premier League team, Bakayoko is a must-have in every lineuo with a CDM
Strong
86 Stamina
Amazing Interception and Marking
Doesn,t make many fouls with the tackles
Good dribbling and definitely better passing than 70
League and country, great links
Not that is important in a CDM, but 2 skills and 3 WF can be bad
A little slow, but with a Chem style you can solve that
Awful shooting
Bakayoko is one of the most overused players in Fifa 18 and for a good reason. His card stats may not look amazing BUT in game he's a defensive beast!
What makes him so good is his ability to intercept and win the ball back for the team which makes him a perfect CDM. Just don't expect him to be a playmaker since his dribbling and passing is so poor and his shooting is really bad.
So: defend - win back the ball - short pass to another player - repeat.
Used him in the most common formations. If you use a formation with only two CM:s he can be a bit underwhelming with his playmaking abilities.
- One of the greatest ball winners in the game
- Enough pace to do his job

- Passing could be better
The formation I use him in is so offensive and he is the key man of midfield and defence because in game two CAM's are like attackers and they don't help the midfield oftenly. The CM has to take all the responsibility of the whole midfield. Bakayoko is the perfect player to do that. He is capable of winning every ball in midfield and helps his defence very well. He is excellent at starting the attack and pushing the team forward. He can easily send long through ball for the wingers. Not very agile but a very strong player. He can also win almost every header because he is strong and tall. In my opinion, he is better than Kante from FIFA 17.
