Must Buy This Year.

First Impression:

My first impression of his card was that he would only be good at dribbling past defenders at speed, but oh my was I wrong. His pace outlines his ability in-game. His finishing, especially across the box is wonderful, just dribbling diagonally at goal and shoot and it's a guaranteed goal. His dribbling is superb, close control and can leave defenders for dead by the sheer quality of ball control. I would advise placing a 'marksman' chemistry style on him, which I use., he's literally unstoppable. His passing stats are reasonably good for someone with quite attributes, but apart from the occasional astray pass, he's reliable and accurate. Physical is the one downfall in his card, and that's purely because his strength isn't the best, as no-one would expect. This is why when playing with him you need to play cute, simple passes around the opposition to create space for him to run into.

Recommendation:

I would 100% recommend Gabriel Jesus as a striker for any team, he's that good. My team consists of Martial and Jesus upfront, and it the most fun I've ever had on FIFA. His stats are great for an 81 rated player and is definitely worth the money. As well as this, his price is falling, which makes him more affordable for people with less budgets and weaker teams. Enough said, but oh my word is he good.

  • Beautiful finishing ability
  • Close control and exceptional dribbling
  • Surprisingly good in the air
  • Good simple passes
  • Price slowly falling
  • Fits into many teams
  • Strength is slightly poor
  • Sometimes can misplace passes

Best Cheap Striker in THE GAME!!
By hutchiebread, 04-12-2017

Where do I start. This dude is an absolute legend. Right now, he's worth about 30k and for that price, there's not a better player in the game. I play him at striker with Martial and Willian at CAM, and even though martial is one of the most overpowered players in the game this year, he plays second fiddle to Jesus.

Pace - His 87 pace is more than enough to beat defenders and his extremely high agility and balance makes him seem alot faster.

Dribbiling - My favorite part about this card. As I said previously, his agility and balance make him so tricky and hard to tackle. He can work his way through tight spaces and if you're one of those straight line running noobs, that works too.

Shooting - he's got great finishing with both feet and once he's inside the box, consider it a goal (low driven or otherwise). Outside the box he isn't bad either. While his longshots aren't spectacular iv'e still scored my fair share of long range finesse and normal shots with him.

Passing - as good as it needs to be for a striker.

Defending - irrelevant.

Physical - a strong breeze could brush him off the ball but his high stamina means he can make runs all day long.

Everything bar strength

strength..lol

Jesus
By Sapnil1507, 18-02-2018

First time i used him he was poop. After 10-15 games i liked him. Then fut champs came and he smashed it. In the start of fifa he was op as hell. Nowdays he is shit because of the patch. Really weak and finishing not on point. He misses many easy 1v1 chances against the likes of fahrmann, donnaruma, perin, baumann, ederson and many more.

Poor Man's Ronaldo
By Popcorn419, 25-11-2017

I have used Gabriel Jesus in FIFA 17 and I liked him. In FIFA 18, Jesus is an absolute beast. I will probably never have the chance to play with 96 Ronaldo but I think this is the closest comparison. Now you might be thinking how? Well let me start by saying, Jesus is lighting quick. His 87 pace feels like 92 in-game. His finishing is world class. Everything he touched was a goal for me. He has scored 15 goals in 13 games. Another great thing I noticed about Jesus was his stamina. He never seemed to get tired, not even late in the game. I didn't know which foot was his weak foot until I looked it up, he's great on both feet. His 4 star skill moves compliment his speed and goalscoring ability. I would recommend him to everybody. He is completely worth the coins. I recommend putting him in lone-striker formations as thats when he shines the most. Besides being an amazing scorer he is also a great provider. In the 13 games played with him he's assisted 9 times. More than any of my midfielders or forwards. By far my favorite striker on FIFA 18.
