I usually used the quick, agile, light strikers in FIFA 17, but the same strikers kept getting pushed off the ball too easy in 18. Saved up (after some insane pack luck) to buy Henry to give me a bit more strength at striker without sacrificing the speed, skills or agility. Tried a few of the heavier strikers like Lukaku, Higuain or Kane and i just couldn't make them work for me. The lack of agility and skill moves meant i couldn't create enough chances with them.

starting in a 4321 formation and switching into a 4231 in game so he wasn't off chem. First game bagged a hat-trick and an assist. I thought he'd be good, but he's phenomenal. Always in the right place at the right time can bang them in with either foot. fineness shots outside the area are his speciality along with his finishing. Current record for me is 17 games 24 goals and 19 assists. Most of these coming from divisions and a few Legendary squad battles. Side note, i'm not the best FIFA player, Average at best. Averaging Gold 2 in weekend league

His hold up play is fairly good. Tall with decent strength only the strongest defenders will cause him trouble. His passing stats are good for feeding the CAMs as they run though.

His only weakness would be his Heading ability. Which is strange because he's 6'2". he scored a few headers but only from counter attacks when unmarked in the area.

Similar players would be Ronaldo, Bale or any winger/striker with decent speed, strength and skill moves. Cheap version if you're looking for one would be Martial.

Wow! Just Wow!

I have been playing fifa for about 3 years now and i think i can say that this card is by far one of my favourites. But just to let you know i did not pack this guy nor did i buy him i had him on loan for ten games and in those ten games he did not dissapoint one bit. So yeh this is my comprehensive review on the 90 rated Icon Thierry Henry.

Pace:

Pace is not a worry with this card. He has 90 pace and it feels like he has 99. he is insane. Whether you need him to run on to a through ball or just fly down the side of the field he will do it no problem and leave the defenders for dead.

Shooting:

His shooting is beyond Amazing! he has 93 attacking positioning and 91 finishing which means that he is always in the right place at the right time and will almost never miss a shot inside the box. Even though he is right footed he has 4 star weak foot so its usually not a problem. His long shots are pretty good aswell with 83 shot power and 84 long shots. Finnesse shots are also very nice with 90 curve. Overall his shots are practically unstoppable unless the opponent has someone like Lev Yashin or De Gea in goals then they might stand a chance. But he is very consistent aswell scoring a goal or more a game for me and almost all of his shots being on target.

Passing:

His passing is defintiely acceptable and is also quite exceptional at times. In the 10 games i played with him his passes never let me down. His crosses are almost pinpoint with 82 crossing and 88 vision. Although he has 76 long passing his through to my striker or supporting players are pretty good. There has really never been a time where i needed a big over the top pass from him since i played him at left forward in a 4321 formation. His short passing is great with 89 and was always making nice plays and sometimes setting players up to score a goal.

Dribbling:

Dribbling is phenomonal with this guy and can honestly take on the whole defensive line if u want him too. He has 4 star skill moves so he can pull most tricks out of the bag but he is a speed dribbler. He has 89 ball control and 88 dribbling so he is very confident with the ball at his feet. 88 agility is really nice so twisting and turning and changing direction isnt necesarily going to be a problem. His balance can be an issue though with only 63. But he has 80 strrength so not many full backs can knock him down but centre backs most likely will and he will fall down most of the time. But he has 89 reactions and 87 composure wihich is a monstrous combo for any player and in my opinion is very important this fifa.

Physical:

He has pretty good physical with 77 and is accpetable for a winger (IMO). He has 83 stamina which will last him the 90 minutes and usually the 120. 80 strength which will get him past most fullbacks no problem and he can also shield the ball prety well if there are no options in front of him. But what i found was kind of an issue was his low agression which is 66. It was sometimes annoying that he wouldnt really fight for the ball in defense. But in attack it wouldnt bother me as much because he would more go around them then through them. His jumping at 67 isnt the greatest but he is 6'2" so against short centre backs he may get his head up there first but its not likely. 80 heading accuracy is meh if he gets his head in front off a corner.

In conclusion, 90 rated Icon Thierry Henry is by far one of the best players ive used in my 3 years ive playing Fifa. He is quick, agile, strong, is an amazing finisher, can set up plays better than de bruyne and can dribble better than neymar. If you have the coins, manage to pack him or get him in a draft or as a loan, he is a must use and i would never pass up on an opportunity to use him.

I must say, i´ve tried many different options for a striker and have never found anyone matching my playstyle. I saw this Henry just getting an overview of the transfer market and i though

why not.

Rest is history! This guy is an absolute beast, he can do everything. I use im as a left forward in a 4321, or a striker in 41212(2) either way

he finds his way to the goal and is very nice for 1-2 passing.

Middle Thierry,

What a beast. Let me first just say that I have used his baby card and it was absolutely terrible. This card is up there with Ronaldo's level for sure. Clinical finisher, bodies everyone off the ball, wins headers, long shot/finesse master, and fast as all get out. I can't think of one bad thing to say about him to be honest. I have been looking for a star player and he has definitely fit the roll. In fut champs he has won games single handedly for me. The guy is an absolute beast and is there when you need him to be.
