I always have a bit of a love-hate relationship with aguero and you probably wonder why.

I mean what's not to like about aguero, he got great dribbling and shooting, and he's fast as well. Not to mention he's not as weak as most strikers with that much dribbling. Weak strikers have to rely on a quick first touch (ball control and reactions), speed, agility and a decent pass. Aguero has those things too but he can rely on his strength as well. 74 may be not that much but it's way better than the low to mid 60's many strikers are blessed with. His strength combined with his high dribbling stats makes him quite good at retaining the ball, especially when you turn your back to the defender.

But a problem with aguero is that his passing can become quite annoying over time. Sure 83 vision and 79 short passing sounds like a dream, and it is, but that 63 short passing is a bit of an eye sore. While you may not notice this in the beginning, after a while you will find yourself shouting at aguero why he made such a bad pass. You'll also find yourself wondering; I thought 83 vision and 79 short passing should cover that...

The reason for this is because through balls are probably considered long passes (I use 'probably' here because this isn't verified information, but there's a bit of a consensus over this on the internet). It's also something that I experience myself, a bad long passing stat can result in bad through balls. It's for this reason that strikers like griezman (who have less vision but more long passing) feel more consistent when passing.

It doesn't really help either that his pace is a bit of hoax. Sure he's got 87 speed overall, but he only has 84 top speed which means when countering, a semi fast defender will catch him easily on the long run, and 74 strength won't save aguero shoulder to shoulder. So either you need to be good at skills, dribbling, or pass the ball. So I highly advise, when you pass with aguero, that you prefer the short pass button.

It doesn't end there though. You may not have noticed it but aguero has only 74 stamina. That means late in game you'll have to rely more on him for passing than for runs, since he'll become lazy, and that will again put pressure on that long passing stat. However since he's quite good at retaining the ball, you'll have more time to make a short pass.

So as you can see the hate doesn't come from nowhere, but the love is real too. Aguero is still a great finisher, a great dribbler and a very intelligent player. 91 positioning with high acceleration makes him a menace in short space. He also got 4 start weak foot and with 91 finishing he's very consistent in front of goal. But even with his high positioning I do prefer him more as a supporting striker , which means I rather have someone next to him that has more top speed, but it isn't needed. What's more important, is that you put someone next to him that has better stamina, to keep things flowing up front.

As far as supporting strikers go, I prefer 87 del piero by far, but he's three times the price and aguero has way better attack positiong, he's also higher rated. Not to mention he's much stronger as well, that means he can keep the ball better, giving you enough time to make a shot on goal, or give a decent pass.... Just remember that the short pass button is your friend.

As I went into my 59th game with Aguero, I was aware he was approaching the 100 goal mark, after tearing through teams in squad battles and the weekend league. I faced my cousin, who is usually a similar level to me, with us both sharing wins so far this FIFA. Aguero simply took his Liga NOS team apart. A Hattrick from the Argentinian saw him take his tally to 102, with the goals ranging from clinical finishes to long range smashes. Since I started using Aguero last week, he has been simply brilliant for me. At times I thought maybe his price was too much for what he is, but he soon disposed of these thoughts. Over the Weekend League Aguero and Martial, who may I add has been an incredible partner for Sergio, did fantastically, carrying me to Gold 2 following a very poor start. Their intricate passing in the final third was fantastic, with their finishing so efficient. This is what made Aguero so good for me, with previous players for my club such as Griezmann lacking ruthlessness.

Overall, I would recommend Aguero to anyone with the coins, with his brilliant shooting and dribbling making him a class apart from other strikers.

After having a little bit of a dilemma between getting Aguero and Suarez, I went for Suarez. After using Suarez for 25 games I had enough and got rid off him and bought Aguero instead - best decision I've made on this game.

His 90 composure and 90 finishing mixed with dibbling, pace and clinical finisher trait is incredibly deadly. When I'm in the box I just hope for the best and shoot, 99% of the time it flies in to the back of the net, hence 19 goals in 9 games. He won me games by scoring when I needed him to, changing the momentum of the game in my favour.

Although he has relatively low stamina (74) it doesn't seem to be a problem when I play with him, he easily lasts the full 90 minutes. Strength is also surprisingly good (74) he sometimes shrugs away defenders and gets himself in to a scoring position.

His passing isn't the best, you'll find yourself shouting at him when he kills the counter attack (Doesn't happen too often, though)

His long shots are also really good because of his shot power so don't hesitate to shoot with him from 20-25 yards - it may be the goal you need to win the game.

1.5 goal contributions per game - mostly in Weekend League or Online Season League 1

Aguero is currently on 632 games for me and I never considered selling him. He is playing along with IF CAM Hazard and 92 Del Piero in front and his regular card is on the same level as these two guys. He is scoring a lot of goals in situation when I'm struggling to break through the defenders line. He has his moments where he scores ridículous 180 degree finesser that end up in the top corners. He is very good at scoring from impossible angles.

Recommending the Hunter chem style he is faster than every defender and he is always in position for counter attacks. Typical Aguero goal in my matches are counter attacks after corners. He is always waiting forward and you can easily send him with a through pass or a long crossing forward.

Interesting fact - even with poor defending and agression stats he somehow often gets the ball back after loosing it with pushing the opponent away.
