Overmars 88. The Quickest

Marc Overmars 88 was my first icon. I like a wide style of play and fast runs to attack, because for this I need fast-footed LW. And Marc is the quickest of them. I compared vs Son, Hazard, Alexis. Son was completely destroyed in Fifa 18, Hazard is very difficult in confrontation with the defenders and Sanchez - rly good, but not so speedster like Marc.

Pace: incredible, fabulous, unbelieveble. He"ll run away and outrun any

Shooting: to my great surprise - Good finishing. Perfect positioning - at the right time in the right place. Unexpected acrobatic shots - maybe becouse of his height. He scored almost 350 in 545 games on my team I think this indicator is more than enough. Extra bonus - 5 stars week foot.. that's rly important fot LW/RW

Passing: Rly good crossing. Not bad short passing incide keeper's square

Dribbling: All good. Agility, balance, reactions, ball control... Dribbling - I don't need superdribbling with his speed, he can just run around :D

Defending: He is something like Leo Messi in real life ... Try to fight with his short legs :D

Physicality: Not the best side of his skills but it's enough for the whole match running around the field like a crazy :D

Pace, Dribbler, Pace, Crossing, Pace, Acrobatic shooting, Positioning... oh i forgot about Pace :D

Def and Strength. Maybe Jumping but i scored alot of heading goals so let it be 6/10

Not What I Expected

I played with 88 Rated Overmars in online (Div 3) and at face value I really liked his 5 * week foot and pace.However, when playing him as left ST I didn't like it one bit. If you're looking for a pacey player this is the guy. He passes well and has great positioning. However, the biggest letdown was his shooting, I would have quick one time shots get BLASTED over/left/right in 1 v 1 with goalies. I have used 87 Henry, Martial and found that he was definitely the worst in front of goal which was disappointing. At ~500k for this card I did not see the value whatsoever. As others previously said, maybe at a LW he has value but as a Left CAM and left ST I did not get anything spectacular to justify his price. You're better off with Martial or Henry if you can afford it. He scored a lot due to always being in the right spot but would have 2-3 times more goals if his finishing was more consistent (could have been me, but still missed low driven's often)

Pace ( the guy is unreal quick)

Positioning (great for back post passes)

Passing was better than expected - he had surprisingly very few poor passes long and short.

Ball Control

5* week foot felt better on his right than left at times

Shooting- he did well with low driven as most players are proficient but anything with any power was VERY inaccurate

Strength - don't expect to run past any defenders that you're near, he'll get bullied quite easily from most players

Stamina - He felt like he had 70 stam. Very rarely lasted a full game
