Chucky is still deadly
By R0bst3r, 13-10-2018

Hello there! Welcome to my Lozano review :)!

Remembering the terror of this card in FIFA 18, he immediately caught my interest when he was released in TOTW1. Having racked up a few coins early on, it was an easy decision to buy this card for a starter team. In-game I switch to a 4-3-2-1 formation, with him remaining on right flank.

A somewhat more expensive card for a starter team, I couldn't ignore his great stats. Quick, good shooting, nice dribbling, and a proper stamina stat, plus the thoughts of his FUT 18 SIF card, gave me the hope he would yet again be a monster on the pitch. Despite not being so OP as last year, he is still as deadly as Chucky. No wonder it's his nickname!

Pace:

Yup, pace. He's fast. However I'm not convinced it does feel like 94. His pace rather feels like high 80'ish, maybe reaching ~90. He just misses that little extra pace which the stats promises. Nonetheless, he'll outrun most defenders.

Shooting:

It's the shooting attributes which makes this card touch his last years OP'ness. Get into the box, press the shooting button, and if you don't mess up big time he'll add a goal to your tally. It's as accurate as you can wish for. Not only that, but he is a poacher. Don't think he is an Inzaghi, but he positions himself so well he'll be there for your rebounds or crosses. I've lost count of how many times this lad suddenly appears to slot in a goal I thought I wouldn't be able to score. But there Lozano was, granting me a surprise goal yet again.

Passing:

His passing is proper, his crosses even better. Not only is he a goalscoring machine, he also shows his brilliance with assisting his teammates with precision crosses. Too many people blocking your path to shoot? No problem, cross the ball, and you'll get your goal too. He's one of the finest crossers I have played with. Don't let the stat fool you, it's proper good!

Dribbling:

Not as broken as last year, but it's still excellent. His agility and 4* skills make him a tricky player, while his ball control and dribbling feel good. However, if you're looking for his FUT 18 SIF dribbling, it'll not be here. He's more vunerable this year, as he'll have a few bad touches here and there. Then again, this is just his FIF. Maybe a next special card will give him the last push to greatness. For the time being, you'll still have a good time with his dribbling.

Defending:

Not much to tell about this stat. It's rather his pace which makes him able to gain possession, not his defensive capabilities. It doesn't completely suck, but you shouldn't get your hopes up.

Physical:

A somewhat surprising element in his game is his physicality. His stamina is nice, but it does feel a bit better in-game. He holds out longer than expected. His strength too feels better than what the stat shows. Sure, he isn't a wall, but he has won some duels I would expect him to lose. That alone deserves some bonus points.

I would suggest putting Sniper on this card if you decide to purchase him. As he is already rapid enough, and his crossing and physicality don't necessarily need more improvements, it's best to improve his shooting and dribbling a bit more. It'll create a wonderful player full of tricks and skill!

  • Double 4*
  • Positioning in the opponent's box
  • Crosses
  • Finishing
  • Seems to be physically stronger than his stats appear to show
  • Stamina

  • Not as OP as last year
  • Not exactly as fast as his stats suggest
  • Linking in a team (yeah I know his Guti hyperlink, but he hasn't got that much going for him besides that)
  • Missing that magical dribbling feel

The one and only EL CHUCKY

well... Where do I start, usually I don't write any reviews, but for this one I made an exception. I was lucky to get him in 10 player picks and I used him twice as a super sub but then I realised this card was too good for a sub so I fitted him into a squad and I have to say that was my best decision ever. I play him with prime raul in the 41212 and he does wonders. I know he shooting stats are not that incredible, espacia...

Famoso Chucky

Firstly, Lozano is the rw i try this year for under 100k and you will say why?Something that shoked me is the game changer he was and how he impact the game when you're in trouble, I switch in game in 4222 and for this formation it's very important to have great ''winger'', before i get this lozano sif no one impressive me (except depay but he's not a winger for me).But...

Chucky Lozano - BEAST!

when i first saw this dynamic Chucky Lozano card, I knew I wanted it. I put him in my starting 11 as RM, then change him to striker in game. I must say, he is a phenomenal striker. He feels much better than Mbappe. He is cheaper, faster and better at shooting, and this card is dynamic. You may look at his card and think it’s a waste of money, but I assure you it’s not. For less than 200k, you get a card better than Mbap...
