He will make the job as a striker if you're not letting him alone in front.

I got him in an unsealable pack this is a beast.

Great striker. His first touch is really crazy and makes him able to be on a good shoot position. His shooting is also incredible : his finishing is clinical such as his volleys.

Good passing but not enough to put him at CAM (according to me).

The 4 star/4 star combination make him pleasant.

His physical stats are undoubtedly a problem because he will not be able to make a header or win any 50-50 challenge. I also found his left foot good but not amazing.

Mertens is a benefit to any team. With his incredible 89 pace and his 94 agility, he can slip in and out of defenders with ease. The beast affordable CAM

Mertens is quite possibly the best affordable CAM in the game. I was lucky enough to pack him in my Gold 3 rewards. Whether he is coming off the bench or starting he is a joy to play with.
