Yes people. I found him. Finally.

After 4 months in the FIFA season, I finally am convinced enough by a player to write my first review!

If I invest 500k + in a player, I want to feel a difference in game.

For me Neymar was my favourite player this year, but Griezmann 91 gives better link options and can carry your squad better.

Griezmann 91 is a GOD, but in a complete different way as expected...

First I played around 30 matches with his normal 89 card, he was good but was missing the finishing touch. But he did give me the feeling that his 91 card could solve his issues.

So I decided to change the squad and buy Griezmann as my new star player.

Man... the first 10 games were a struggle, I could not find the best meta for him. After 10 games I had scored 3 goals and 1 assist, I was playing him more like Messi...

But he did have that flair that I liked a lot... So I decided to not "rage sell" and just try him for this weekend league.

The moment it all changed.

I started my weekend league and wow, he started scoring goal after goal!!!

Thanks to the weekend league that gave me that little bit extra focus and made me play actual FIFA instead of "ALL BALLS TO GRIEZMANN".

And that is simply the trick with Griezmann!!!

Only use him around the box...

A one two or send someone deep, or my favourite, turn to your left and bang it in with a green timed finesse shot. You will always find him in the right spot, if you not over use him, the moment you start making runs with him like Messi, Griezmann will let you down.

PACE: 8.5/10

Decent, if you send him deep and he is alone, he won't be touched. But if you are looking for a Ronaldo or Messi type of player, Griezmann is not your guy.

This year I rarely use speed boost chem styles in the midfield or attack and with 92 acceleration and 88 sprint speed I found finisher the best fit.

Soon I will try some other chem styles and will make an updated post on that.

SHOOTING: 9.5/10

Yes people, this is where I get very happy and nearly emotional...

ALL 99 but 97 shot power and 86 penaltys.

His shots are insane, short post or far post, finesse shot or driven shot, it doesn't matter, if you check the goalkeeper movement and bang it green, it always is a goal!

You will always find him in the right spot if you not overuse him. All you have to do is find your way to his left foot and bang it in.

His left foot is honestly one of the best in the game... And his right foot... This is overall his biggest con...

I'd like to say his 3 star weak foot comes at it's right as 3/5 stars says, he will score 3 out 5 with his right foot.

PASSING: 8/10

With Griezmann you are not looking for difficult passes, hold the ball and stay to the simple passes.

The 3 most important stats for a striker here are curve 87, vision 84 and short passing 85.

Don't expect too much and he will treat you well.

DRIBBLING: 9/10

DAMN that dribbling feels good, that good that it led me to think I could do everything with this card.

Just don't don't make it too difficult... Then he will unleash his magic the best.

His 81 balance is a little noticeable but his other dribbling stats definitely make up for this!

His 92 reactions will make him quicker as most defenders in duels and in the box there is a big chance Griezmann will find a way around the defender and be able to shoot on goal with a volley or anything else magical he comes up with...

DEFENDING:

Not going to spend too much time here, Griezmann is very smart and is very good at chasing the defenders.

With 87 heading you will score goals but he is not your Peter Crouch that would be the master in the air, wait till Griezmann gets into position and then pass.

PHYSICALITY: 7/10

Griezmann his jumping with finisher is 99, he is not the tallest or strongest so against center backs he will have it difficult.

But if you wait till Griezmann uses his positioning to come in that better position, he will always win the headers.

Thanks to all these inform upgrades his stamina is up to 85 now, and this is enough to play the full 90 mins.

Unless you have a mega team with super subs that would be in my standard team, Griezmann is good enough for 90 mins. Again, all he has to do is turn to his left and bang it in...

Thanks to his +10 aggression upgrade with finisher he does use his body a bit more efficient and can win 1v1's against Van Dijk and Varane occasionally.

OVERALL:

Overall Griezmann made me enjoy FIFA more and made me play better as a team.

Again, I can not say this enough, I saw it in Koen Weijland his stream as well (it took him 10+ games to get used to him).

Don't overuse him, and then he will show his magic!!

I am a skiller so for me to pick Griezmann instead of Neymar now as favourite player means a lot!!

This card is the best striker under 800k and might be one of the best in game.

• If you have enough money to buy this card and build a team with playmakers and passers around him, Griezmann will make you very happy.
• If you have under 1m coins I would not advice you to buy this card because your team will lose too much quality overall.
