THE MANCUNIAN HITMAN! Marcus Rashford Headliner

First of all this is my first review and I had to do it for this hitman. Div 3, Gold1-Elite 3 player. I got this guy for the recent weekend league to build a team around and he didn't disappoint. Check the team I used him. I have used all iterations of this card and knew that another upgrade would see him become a very good card and he didn't disappoint.

I used him in a 442 formation next to Ibra (False 9) who just loves to find his runs "Get in behind". He is a HITMAN. Very quick, strong, extremely agile and tricky. I use alot of skills, turns and quick passes. He thrived in this style for me. He possesses excellent movement and he pops up with important goals even when you can't get him in the game properly. COMPLETE FORWARD. A good comparison is mbappe before he was definitely nurfed - an animal in attack. He does that thing Mbappe did where when chasing the ball he is very liable to win it back off advancing defenders.

He was my top talisman bagging 37 goals in 31 Apps, mostly in WL. If you watch rashford he plays just like real life, Very fun to play with. Funniest thing about this card is that it's dynamic. Being in great form for united and being the preferred no.9 - it is very unlikely we don't see multiple upgrades of this version. Regardless though this version is worth every penny as is. He makes writing this a pleasure.

INSANE SHOT - Like real life this guy has a monster shot. Powerful and accurate, scores goals from all angles for fun. Left foot, right foot - don't matter. His speciality is the driven shot, driven finesse. I didn't notice the composure at all. Off balance, surrounded by the likes of top defenders, he'll still find the net with precision. I used marksman on him to top up his longshots and finishing. His long range shooting is disgustingly good. I put him on my free kicks and he loved to drive it him for ridiculous. Need a goal... look for MR10.

VERY EVASIVE - If like me you like quick agile strikers who can evade challenges for fun, keep the ball very close and feel responsive even in terrible gameplay this is your boy. I can imagine he would make an excellent wideman. I tell him to "drift wide" at ST and get to the byline La croquette left and right and score and REPEAT. He's a penalty magnet. He combines his agily with great strength too, aided by the marksman I put on him - his strength is just what you would want for him. He performs skill moves very quickly and any smart defender would stand off him in the box. He draws alot of attention and allows others to find space for easy tap ins. With all this running I didn't have a problem with his stamina, goes for the whole 120.

INTERPLAY/CONSISTENCY - One thing I noticed compared to the versions of this card is that due to the increased, ball control, dribbling and passing and vision - the guy linked well with his teammates - racking up 15 assists for me too. His 84 crossing is accurate and reliable - aided by his 84 curve. I didn't have one game where I felt he wasn't involved - which is the most important thing. His 87 positioning allowed him to avoid tight markers even against the "park the bus" tactic. You spend 500k on a player, they cannot go missing and he never does. His 4 star weakfoot gives him the ability to go either way and short passing on either foot is good - nothing special but gets the job done for his role. I pushed him out wide to RM/RAM and he is just as good there too.

This was really hard to think of as to me this guy is a very complete forward.

AVERAGE JUMPING - if you're looking to abuse the cross and backpost header style - this ST isn't for you. Saying that, his leap is noticeably better than his other versions. He popped up with a few headed goals for me though. With the marksman it goes up to 78 which isn't great still but his 6"1 frame aided his leap for me.

Marcus Rashford has always been a good card and I wanted to try his Headliner as soon as it came out. Fortunately, the EA pack luck was with me when they gave me a free untradeable ultimate pack and I pack the man, the myth, the legend himself: MARCUSSSSSS RASHFORRRDDDDD. I am a typical Gold 2 player in FUT CHAMPS so hopefully he will make a huge difference. In the three games of WL I have played, he's scored at least 5-6 ...

So I spent 320k on this card as I had untradeables in my club worth about 180k. I actually had to sell Pogba so I could do this sbc and dang it was worth it, could not be more happy with my investment. I was also lucky to get around 100k back from the amazing packs that you do get.
