I honestly didn't expect a lot when I first bought him considering his stats and stamina, and also because I was going to use him as a CDM alogside Saul.

And I only got him for chemistry reasons at first but then he became one of the most important team members for me.

His passes are perfect almost everytime. Has great vision,curve,short and long passing stats. His interceptions with shadow are seriously good.

And I can't describe how amazing his dribbling is with all stats besides reactions(84) being over 85 and having 5 star skills is just the cherry on top of the cake!

His goal contributions are good considering he plays CDM with 19 goals and 24 assists in 56 games (45 WL and 11 DR).

But don't expect him to be amazing for the whole 90 mins maybe just for 70-80 minutes, he isn't horrible after that just wouldn't recommend depending on him to play the whole 90.

Strengh,Height and Stamina are where Thiago falls short (pun intended), but using him next to Saul didn't make me notice them at all.

Overall decent card with great Dribbling and Passing and kinda decent shooting especially if you use finesse shots, Defending isn't as bad as it seems like with shadow.

10/10 would recommend.

Thiago "the maestro" Alcantara

Huge fan of him IRL so I decided to complete his sbc and try him out and he did not disappoint. The first thing you'll notice is his ball control and dribbling, his passing is amazing, creating a lot of chances (intercepting passes in the opposition half) and decent acceleration saw him skip past few defenders. Shooting in all honesty is inconsistent and 3*wf also did hinder the card a bit.

Really clinical in the box, passes and through balls are perfect. The only better player is James Rodriguez but Thiago is excellent value for 10k (at time of writing). Definitely recommend him for a Bundesliga team. Rodriguez compliments him well.
