Player Review
88 - PL POTM
I made this SBC mainly because I saw his height and thought that this would be the perfect 2nd striker next to flashback Sturridge - and I'm not disappointed! He's a fast guy, running away from most defenders and he's still able to push away the defender with his physicality. He's the one who gets the first pass during an attack, keeping the ball for a second and let other players follow. When it comes to entering the penalty area, he's again my ball magnet. The ball control and the agility allow me to chose what to do - passing or shooting. When it comes to crossings,
he finds a perfect spot on most occasions and scored some goals with a header, too.
I'm a bit unhappy with his finishing/shooting, but maybe I'm just not used to the shot power. He plays the position of IF Son and I scored goals more easily with that guy. I sometimes overpower the shots and he aims above the goal. Probably it's just a small con, but be aware that he's maybe one you'll need to get used to. His passing is OK and most of his passes succeed.
Still, he scored 8 goals in 10 games in Division Rivals - Division 5 and he assisted 3 times. Compared to my Flashback-Sturridge (288 games, 167 goals), Rashford feels a bit faster and even stronger. Up to now, I prefer to shoot with Sturridge's left foot, but I might just need to get used to Rashford. Compared to IF Son (86), whom I played for 173 games as a striker scoring 89 goals, Rashford is easier to handle, because he's able to keep and defend the ball much better.
I'd recommend to do this SBC, if you had some players to fill the required teams. The pack luck was not with me, so maybe it'll be with you...
- Speed
- Physicality
- Shot power and finishing
- Ball control
- 4-star weak foot (feels like 5 stars)
- Shot power (because you can easily overload)
- Passing (sometimes feels a bit weak; you really have to face the player of destination)
