What I love about informs are the weird position changes. Take a semi-decent player, give some upgraded stats and change the position. Some odd gameplay guaranteed.

Like in this case, a full back has a different build than other positions. A full back usually has a more all rounder skillset while in CM position it is quite rare to have players with all stats decent, and the few exceptions are amazing.

Zuber, tbh is an avarage LB, doesnt really have the speed or anything else to be a semi-decent LB. I have some memories using him in the beginnings, I got his basic card in my starter squad. However, being a CM, speed becomes less relevant and Physicality is more important.

I wont say Zuber is exceptional, but he is probably the best 81 Bundesliga CM you can get.

I have a 4-5-1 (2) Bundesliga squad, with Witsel OTW, Delaney IF and Goretzka base in the middle. My playstyle is possession heavy with lots of passes.

I was feeling that, Goretzka (83) is the weak link in the middle, so I seized the opportunity and bought Zuber immediately for 12k.

It took less than 1 in-game minute for him to score for the first time, that's why I decided to give him more chance.

After a couple matches and switching back to Goretzka I can tell the differences between them.

First of all, he feels completely different.

After him Goretzka feels a bit bulky. The other significant difference is the positioning. Somehow he keeps his position better, Goretzka often wanders into some weird places messing up the general gameplan, Zuber mostly stays center, leaving the wing to Pulisic UCLive.

His short passing is good, rarely gives the ball away. He can keep the ball well, but the pace is not really enough for long sprints. He intercrepts well, he has H/H workrate, 4* WF 3* Skill, (just like Goretzka) and ok Stamina to cover rhe distances.

So, all in all, he is good. Probably, he won't make it to my Bundesliga top 11 on the long run, but in the same time, I don't feel Goretzka anymore. Zuber may not better, but his control just feels like a full back. And full backs feel good. (don't quote me on that)

Rarely gets into scoring position.

Struggles to win headers

Hard to find the best chem style for him.

Doesn't worth to build tge squad around him (be realistic, he is only 81)
