So when I heard my all time favorite brazillian player was coming to FIFA 19, I made it a dream to get his prime. Lo and behold, EA gives him and even more overpowered card in the Optimus Prime Moments version, and I was instantly hooked.

I was painfully using prime Rui Costa for close to 400 games, and what was keeping me up at night was the possibility of that Socrates SBC dropping.

Socrates SBC dropped and I have never completed something so quick in my life. I said goodbye to my longtime frenemy Rui Costa, emptied my entire club sold ALL my useless, and finished the sbc with 400 coins remaining. Yes, 400 coins.. not enough for a squad fitness.

Enough with the intro. I looked at his stats, and my God, words cannot be said at how good these stats are. This guy is a literal tree ingame, 5*wf makes him so unpredictable, and is SO much fun to use.

Dont let that balance fool you, *slap* an engine on him and you're more than set (hawk if you want to play him at striker). He scores bangers from 40 yards with ease, sometimes i feel bad for my opponent.

The card is ACTUALLY Broken. 71 Goals and 28 Assists in 88 games, and carried me to my first Elite 2 Finish (Weekend League and Division 2 in Rivals - Team linked above).

Last thing, don't let people who have never used Socrates fool you by saying you should wait for the likes of Cruyff and Eusebio etc.

After you get used to having such a giant in the game, you'll see he plays much better than these two, and for the price is completely worth it in my opinion.

Try his loan for 10 games (remember to add engine/hawk), and come back and thank me.

Stamina - Runs for DAYS

Shooting: I have never felt comfortable taking hail mary shots from 40 yards out, with Socrates, these bangers seem like tap ins..

Passing: His delivery is so good, no wonder he's called the DOC

Build: He bodies EVERYONE, hes so big and strong, wins most headers too (with the exception of cr7 and toty vvd etc)

Agility: This surprised me so much, he's super big and I expected him to be clunky, which he really isn't. Very nice on the ball, and with engine he is a literal train on the field, mowing down the enemy.

You unfortunately cannot have a team of 11 Socrates'.

After many long hours of trading, weekend league and saving up coins from div rivals, I decided to use my hard earned coins on his SBC.
