Player Review
89 - SIF
I was lucky enough to get him in my red player picks and I've used him for roughly 50 games in Div 2 and Fut Champs. He started on full chem in a 451 but i switched to 41212 in game, where he played left striker. He has been my favorite striker i've used from the premier league so far. I used a Sniper on him because his dribbling is not great and it nearly maxes out his finishing and attacking position. I also tried marksman but he just felt too clunky on the ball. I really did like the card and will probably be using him until TOTS so if you have the coins and are running a PL team I would recommend him.
Shooting-The most clinical striker I've used this year, whether it was low drivens, first time power shots, or even volleys if he has a yard of space he's going to bury it. His finesse shots aren't great but his ability to finish on his weak foot made up for it in my opinion.
Pace-Took a while to adjust to, but was surprisingly good once I got use to it. He's not great with quick 1-2s but if he gets a running start his spring speed will generally be enough to get by CBs. Also his strength allows him to sometimes bounce off center and outside backs even if they get in the way of his run.
Free headers-His height, positioning, and heading accuracy were amazing when I could find him with space in the air, I didn't really feel the need to use timed finishing because even with close to a full bar of power his headers were generally on target. However, his low jumping and aggression meant that when he was matched up with icon or toty CBs he wasn't likely to win the ball in the air.
Strength-Was great at hold up play especially against someone who was overtly aggressive with their defenders because he could hold them off and pick the right pass.
Inconsistent Dribbling-His dribbling stats are all over the place even with a sniper the low balance and dribbling you can feel from time to time during a game. But I tried to adjust my game to use him as more of hold up player and use my other striker and CAM as more of playmakers/dribblers, and it worked out pretty well for me.
