Underwhelming (sadly).

I played Ziyech as a CAM in a 352 and used him to link up to my Flashback Huntelaar. I was surprised about his price, I mean 45k for a 89 is really cheap but I thought yeah it's probably because of his league and nation so I tested him out. I put a marksman on him because I wanted to boost his shooting and strength while also getting a little boost on his agility. I was already happy with his pace and passing stats. Inthe following I will be mentioning in-game stats with chem stlye boosts applied.

PACE: He was quite fast, accurately representing his 83 on his card, had no problems with his pace whatsoever.

SHOOTING: His shots most of the time flew wide, no matter if without timed finish or with a green one. His positioning (93) was my biggest problem with him, he never was in the right space, most of the time he was on the wings even though he was set to hold his position. The 99 shot power were noticeable but a little bit weaker than I thought.

PASSING: With his passing being 91 I was expecting my short passes (92) to land 9/10 and my long passes (92) at least like 7/10 but no. His passing was very bad, most of the time right into my opponents feet despite his 93 vision. His free kicks (82) were good, especially if you curve them (95).

DRIBBLING: He was okay on the ball, but the 65 balance really were noticable as were the 92 agility. Didn't have that much problems with his dribbling.

DEFENSE: His defense is pretty high for a CAM being 62 and sometimes he was able to tackle the opponent and initiate a counter attack but nothing amazing. His 57 heading weren't a problem.

PHYSICALITY: The 94 stamina were underwhelming, he was pretty dead by the 70th minute, probably because of his HIGH/HIGH workrates. The 70 strength were noticable as he was being pushed of the ball pretty easily.

Sadly Ziyech wasn't very good and I wouldn't recommend him. I've been using CL David Neres for some matches now and he's way better for me.

A steal of a card

This card is absolutly gold if used properly, accounting for his 2 star WF and relatively low finishing.At 50k at the current moment he is an absolut steal and with link to De Jong, Huntelar and Hakimi, in any hybrid squads. Great player, pace is ok, great shooting and dribbling makes him very dangerous.In combination with FB Huntelaar and FS De Jong and Prime Icon Zanetti in the rightback position really makes him a dangerous player.

89 Ziyech 3-5-2 Winger

When I saw him going for 35k, I figured that was far too low for someone of his quality. I tried out a 3-5-2 formation and enjoyed it, so I though Ziyech would be a good fit, and allow me to get FS De Jong into the squad.
