Top keeper but pricey

I think goalies are always a controversial topic. Yet many of us take their existence for granted. I hope to provide a fair assessment for him

First, I am a crap player. Only Div 5 and play Weekend League but usually a Silver 1 / Gold 3 finisher. And I need all the help i can get

During the course of the season i have used many good goalkeepers. Oblak, Neuer, Handanovic, even Strakosha IF (bias as I am a Lazio fan). I was fortunate to draw 89 OVR Wojciech in one of my player picks so he has played 800 games for me already

My first reaction is, this card, is not the same as TOTY18. (which was better). I have Ramos and Pique in front of me this 19, but still good players will always find a way to score against me. HOWEVER, it is the little things that De Gea do that gets unnoticed. A complex save in a tight angle, that 1 on 1 miracle moments ago. All forgotten if you lose a game, but if you win, you start to think....hey, De Gea gave me some oxygen back then.

Stats wise, this is a very powerful card. Almost flawless without the need of a chemistry card.

He does all his duties well, catching, distribution, awareness, - no flaws here

Price - insane, for a goalie. Even though it's TOTY. He's not superman, so manage expectations. What am i saying? In my opinion, unlikely to be a game changer. This TOTY didn't make me go "WOW - indispensable"

But let's be fair, his base card is still a big favourite and most Weekend or Division Rivals player has him in the squad. and that's worth 150,000 coins any day.

Only recommend him if you have coins to burn, if not, 900K could help you bolster other parts of your squad.
