88 - Premium SBC

As an Arsenal fan, I had to do this card. I intended to replace Fabinho who played my CDM in a 433(2) formation. I managed to do the SBC quite cheap some high rated untradeables, but still I find the value very good and worth the price for what the card gives. On his player instructions I set him onto:
- Balanced attack
- Cover Centre
- Get into box for cross
- Aggressive Interceptions
- Stick to position
Going into the game I had Willian and Mata making forward runs to boost the attack, this meant that my midfield was left stripped apart from Ramsey. He was all I needed, I noticed he would intercept every ball the opponent tried sending forward. My defensive tactic are set to drop back and Ramsey was perfect. When intercepting he was never sloppy and his touches were quick and composed, because he wasn't rushing it meant that he wouldn't give possession away immediately after a tackle or interception. I felt that due to the position that Ramsey was playing a Catalyst was suitable for him, pace providing use when catching up to the other teams attackers or initiating a counter attack holding the ball and running forward. With passing I felt would dramatically over power him, though passing is not needed with shadow and hawk being other good options. Ramsey played on full chem that way I got the most out of his maxed passing. He was always able to intercept the ball and implement a crucial pass that could lead to a goal or the build up of a goal.
When passing with Ramsey, he is very quick to receive and release the pass, but never rushing it and giving away the ball. To me he is the perfect premier league all round midfielder who can play CDM, CM and CAM. I would even say that a winger role or wide midfielder is not a bad option when switching positions in game, as his crossing with a catalyst is maxed out and he offers a large amount of stamina, low stamina being the downfall of wingers. Ramsey has enough Stamina to keep you in the game the full 90 minutes and possibly extra time, though I have yet to use him in FUT champs as I only played rivals with him. To me he is the best well rounded BPL midfielder with perhaps IF Pogba and FS Guendouzi being at his level. I'm pleased with doing the SBC and don't regret it, I would highly recommend you to do the SBC if you have the coins or untradeables to do so.
Pace:
With the right chem style, can make great runs and outrun his markers and attackers.
Shooting:
Specifically in or on the edge of the box, green time finishes are satisfying and always went in, even yellow timed are a threat and can go in. As a central midfielder who I put on balanced attack, he has got himself a decent amount of goals.
Positioning:
He is everywhere where you need him to be, no more shouting "Why was no where there!" when a ball rebounds or the other team passes to their open player.
Passing:
As a whole his passing is amazing, he sets up goals and chances, which is crucial for an all round midfielder.
Ball Control
Very good on the ball.
Composure
Composed on the pitch which some players lack in the midfield.
Reactions
Quick to react to a pass from the opposition and is quick to intervene.
Tackling and Interceptions
His tackles are clean and efficient, yet to get a yellow or red. His interceptions, though it looks low, is very good and useful in-game.
Stamina
I find that full-backs, wingers and midfielders lack stamina and can get drained out before the full whistle, requiring a substitution that you perhaps don't want. However Ramsey's 92 Stamina is something you will never have to worried about, he can sprint all he likes and he will last the full 90 minutes and maybe extra time.
Free Kicks:
Not a good taker and other options should be considered first unless you boost his passing and he is your last resort
3* Weak foot:
Don't expect him to score every shot immaculately with his left foot, 3* skills is a serious con and you should always try to get him to shoot with his right as it is more lethal in front of goal.
3* Skill Moves:
Just like his weak foot, this is a serious weakness. Don't go trying the La Croqueta and rainbow flicks as they ain't gonna work.
Jumping and Heading:
Though his height isn't too bad he won't be able to do too much in the air and can be ruled out as an aerial threat.
Strength and Aggression:
For some players these low stats on him are not ideal and are quite low.

Ramsey will be very difficult to implement into a hybrid, with Bale being the best link apart from an icon.
