Player Review

I first acquired this card when I was getting tired of my prime Zola and was searching for a fitting replacement. When I saw Rivaldo (and his 900k price tag at the time) I decided to try him out. At first, he didn't quite fit well with the team. I felt as if he has about 70 pace and his shooting was nothing to be amazed at. THEN I TRIED LONG SHOTS. I'm not a player that uses many long shots, but boy, this Rivaldo can shoot from range. On his left, from the edge of the box, Rivaldo hits the top corner every time. He has even scored a few headers for me, and is solid in 1-on-1 situations, although nothing to be marvelled at. I ended up doing his SBC for the packs (from which I got nothing, typical) and have continued to use his as a first-choice LF in my team ever since. I have never had much of a problem with stamina, and playing with him doesn't become repetitive or tiresome because he can always surprise you with that 30-yd finish on his left that really shouldn't be possible. To summarise in a review type way, he is really well rounded and a good bet for a high-budget LF, the only problem being a large amount of alternatives, although Rivaldo is still a favourite of mine!
-Long shots on the left foot
-Strength: For an LF he is remarkably powerful
-Penalties: He has never missed to this day
-Pace (with the right chemistry style) he can get in behind
In general his stats are very solid and well rounded, with decent agility/composure
Ah, the ol' weak foot. I think weak is an understatement. The 2* weak foot means that you must, and I stress 'MUST', always shoot with his left. His Kryptonite is when you have a decent chance with his right and he scuffs it all the way into row Z.
