So I stumbled across this card whilst searching through SBC's, and was particularly enticed by the 96 defending. It is a really cheap SBC, costing me untradeables + 200k. I didn't get even a board in the packs so didn't make profit (sadly). In my first 3 games with him I conceded a grand total of 11 goals. Not that great. I decided that maybe I should swap my FUT birthday Lukaku (which I was using as a joke) with a more serious option. I opted for Carniball Rudiger, and boy did this partnership work! In general, he is an extremely solid CB for anyone with 500K to spare and a defensive weakness. He is sure to...well... sure up your defence. Pace may be a slight issue - I'll come to that in the cons - but in general he is solid and feels good on the ball with his 79 dribbling. It was about 10 games into using Bobby Moore that I discovered his real talent. Long Passing. With the chem style I used, (catalyst), he had boosted pace and passing. This meant he had 99 short AND long passing. He could delicately lift a ball through to Rivaldo with apparent ease, and that helped me gain the 9 assists I have with him at this point. It is not only this that makes him so good though. He is always that last man and always pulls off that astounding last-minute tackle to save a game, and has problem single-handedly saved about 5 of the 50 games he has played for me at this point, and my defending is SHAMBOLIC!
-Long Passing: He can effortlessly loft balls over to my wingers to be in on goal
-Dribbling: He feels decent on the ball and even makes attacking runs sometimes
-Tackling: 50 games and only 2 yellow cards. He hasn't given away a single penalty and always makes that last-ditch tackle
-Heading Accuracy: For his size he is surprising good at scoring headers when he gets the chance, it's getting to the ball that's the big problem
-Pace: Yes, he has only 70 pace, but honestly, you barely notice it. It still is a con though, but can be neutralised with the right chemistry style (catalyst)
-Size: He will not beat Van Dijk to a header, hands down. If you want someone to be a big imposing presence in the box, get someone else
