The best CDM in the game comes from EPL and France. N'Golo Kante dictates the middlefield for 90+ minutes. His 96 stamina keeps him going forever. His tackling, balance, agility and defending are phenomenal. Speed and passing are way better in game from what the card states. One of the few players i haven't regret buying up to this point. His only negative is his height, 1.68m so do not expect him to win those headers for you although, in some situations he is competitive in the air.
Absolutely monstrous (Marksman Chem Style).
As you'd expect, he's a phenomenal target man who has also great touch and dribbling and absurd shooting + 4*WF.
As you'd not expect, his pace and stamina (his worst stat) hasn't been a problem at all for me. he doesn't need either of those thanks to his lazy workrates. He just stays still in attack, receveing balls from teammates and creating chances with his shooting, dribbling, passing and physical
5*SM + Dribbling (God)
Physical (do i need to explain why?)
Threat on corners and crosses (half of his goal were from crosses, half of these were bycicle kicks)
4*WF (good enough)
Passing (good enough)
Workrates (perfect for a slow guy with 0 stamina like him)
LEAGUE AND NATION (MLS and Swedish players suck, let alone his strong links, until alessandrini hopefully gets an inform)
Pace (not for me but don't sprint with this guy)
Stamina (same as pace)
Icardi can be a frustrating card to get used to, but when you find his strengths he turns into a really solid option. I first tried Icardi alone up top in a 4-2-3-1, with Mertens and 1st IF Insigne at the two CAM positions behind him. He was very frustrating to play with; his strength was poor, ball control sloppy, and his passes were just not strong enough to get through tight windows without being intercepted. After about 5 games (3 goals, 2 of them headers), I switched formations, playing him alongside Higuain in a 4-1-2-2 (narrow), with 1st IF Insigne behind. OH MY, what a change that made. In 5 games he scored 11 goals and assisted 4 more. I found the key to this card was to play a strong physical card next to him, to allow him to make cute runs into the box behind defenders. Once in the box, he was magical. I used Hunter, Get In Behind Instruction.
In the Box Finishing: In the box he is one of the best I've used. I'll put him right up there with Harry Kane on finishing in the box. Both feet are strong inside the box.
Short Passing: Works especially well with a stronger striker next to him.
Heading: The go-to target on corners and set-pieces.
Strength: His strength of "78" felt more like "55-60". He was pushed off the ball easily, especially in a single striker formation. Needs someone else to do physical dirty work for him.
Long-Passing: Don't expect to thread cute balls through to fellow pacey wingers, he is weak in this area.
Long Shots: Outside the box, forget about it, gets saved 80% of the time.
Ball Control: Fairly poor first touches and skills. Use him more as a poacher in game.
This card is hands down the best I have used in any Fifa. I use him as the central CAM in a 4231 formation, he is expert at playing off the striker as a CAM/CF and on the edge of the box defenders are scared to tackle him. Work yourself some space and pull off a timed finesse, it goes flying in the top corner. I've used him in Division Rivals and he's scoring crazy amounts, actually looking forward to playing champs this weekend with this guy.
Yes... he costs more than 2 mil, but I would recommend to anyone who can afford as he plays out of his skin.
93 Acceleration and 94 agility and other dribbling stats do not lie, when Cruyff has the ball you feel like you can do anything, and it turns out... you can!
5* Skill moves are fluid and so easy to use, just play with the RS and watch him beat defenders from all angles. 5* weak foot means there is no need to think about where you are on the pitch he will be able to get a shot on target.
His finishing is clinical, with his 91 finishing, in the box he cannot be stopped. It's obvious, with his 91 curve and 90 long shots, that his finesse shots are incredible and if it's well timed it will go in the net. His passing and build up play, ability to create chances for himself and others is second to none and pulling off a skill goal with him feels incredible. I have never had so much fun with a player.
I have not noticed too many cons to him yet, only in the way people target him once they see what he can do, he will be pressed and he will get crunched but most of the time you are able to avoid this with his ball control and skill moves. Try not to rely on just Cruyff because otherwise you become predictable, however he will pull through and change games for you when you most need it.
His stamina is okay, he will end up on red by the end of the game if you use him as much as I do but I have not noticed the effects of this in game, only after when you have to put a fitness card on him.
His strength is low, but iI think his height and agility make it difficult for players to get the ball off him.
Yes he cost me 2,150,000 coins... but I would spend it if you're looking for a game changing creator and you can afford it.
Paul Pogba - What. A. Player.
He is a complete midfielder and an absolute work horse. He can play well in any position, whether it be CDM, CM, CAM or even CF with the right chem style. His Physicality, Passing and Dribbling are definitely his strengths. He can hold play up well, ping a pass from anywhere, and thanks to his strength and dribbling, he can just push through and bully players. His finishing can be a let down at times but I normally use him for passing and assists. If you have the coins, he is an absolute monster in midfield and a game changer.
- Strength and Physicality
- Long Shots and Finesse Shots
- Any type of pass or cross
- Dribbling and 5* skills, 4* WF
- Pace - Can be an issue at times
- Finishing - Can be fixed with chem styles though
- Low Defensive Work Rate - Can be an issue but custom tactics help a lot
