I did the Bundesliga SBC as more of a mental challenge than an actual attempt to get one of the players. This lead to me losing 150K and having 2 quads left to complete. I grew a pair and finished it, picking Boetius as he looked the better of the two cards.
At first glance, he looks like a good card. Very quick and quite solid in most aspects. This along with him being easy to link to lead to to create a squad in my current favourite formation around him and incorporate Ozil.
Anyway, read the rest for a more extensive review
- 4 star 4 star is possibly the best part about this card
- good dribbling and this works well with the 4 star skills
- Solid pace and stamina, meaning still beating defenders with speed in the 85th minute
- When on target, his shots are powerful
- easy to link with and to
- OK standing tackles to win back possession in midfield
- Has a custom default celebration
- Very expensive SBC, especially Padeborn, Bayern Munchen, Neunburg and Union Berlin (this was to be expected though, due to newly promoted clubs usually being the most expensive)
- Misses a fair bit
- Widely inconsistent in his shooting
- Not physical enough for my liking (but I abuse strong players a bit)
- Medium/low is dodgy but not overly noticeable
