If you're anything like me, then you'll know it was a struggle to complete this card. However, 4 relegations later and I finally had my man. I had very high hopes for him - he looks insane, lovely 4* 4* combo and he is like some kind of drugged up springboard.
It's a difficult review to write tbf. Some games he is an absolute machine, others... he just fades away. I play him as an LF in a 4321 with Vardy ST and 87 Mahrez RF. It's my second team and one that I kinda experiment with. I think that this card could be a monster as a ST if you can use him right. Well, he can be a monster anywhere if you use him right. But so far, for me, he has shown glimpses of what he can do, but not fully.
I am also keeping in mind that this guy will get additional upgrade(s) as he is a league player item so that might do it for him.
Acceleration is very good. I use a deadeye on him so a hawk / hunter would probably lead to Usain Bolt
Shooting is nice, but like any player will miss a few easy chances. Really good long shots as well.
Passing is really nice, can do a great job as central CAM or maybe even a CM with H/M work rates
Personally I like his H/M, some might like others, idk.
Agility and dribbling is genuinely awesome
Jumping (how couldn't I mention it) but heading has been broken so not very useful
4* 4* is very nice
Technically a 'free' card but really quite hard to get if you play in a relatively high division
Had no issues with stamina at all tbh
G
Sprint speed could be better, might be down to chem style, idk...
Inconsistent for me at the moment, so that's why he has 4 stars and not 5.
Seen alot of mixed reviews on this card so i thought id chirp in with my opinion. Most of the mixed reviews i am seeing are people that are playing him on the wing which i dont think suit the strengths on this card. I am a consistent gold 1 player and use him at striker in a 4-2-2-2 with his H-M i ping the ball into auba and Trossard is already on his bike making a run of the ball which allows auba to play that deffence splitting pass. Due to his H-M work rate he will make this run ALL game without fail. hes is insane tbh when used correctly at striker. to think hes going to be upgraded twice more. One thing i will say is the grind to get him is a massive pain.
so this league player came out and i needed i cheep player to link with de bruyne. so i started with making a full premier league team and started to grind. i first though it would not be worth it but after i was toltally surprised. his shot was amazing, pace was good, driblling is perfect. if you need a cheap, good player i would recomend him.
I initially found this card on the objectives, and liked the appearance of the card so I looked at the stats and thought that was a good card to add to my squad (which is a PL squad). Hours later I saw here some positive reviews about the card and decided to complete the missions to get it.
Honestly, I was a little unhappy about my Martial card, yes, he is good, but in my opinion, his stamina is low as f*ck. At the time I was playing with him in my squad I was playing normal matches with him, and on the 30th/40th minute... He was running out of stamina!!!! NO CAP!!
And now that I got this card and played 50 matches over the last week I can tell you that this card is a must-have, for sure!!
He is fucking incredible. I play with him in LW/LM and he is my favorite player over the squad, the 97 of acceleration and 81 of sprint speed speak by themselves, he is very fast, crosses very well, passes perfectly, now that I am writing this can't even remember one time he has missed one pass, he shoots well, he has a 4 star WF and 4 star SM, and is very, very agile, it's almost a god on dribbling.
I just remembered writing this review because I was playing against a squad that had Nelson Semedo, and on a play that the RM of my opponent passes badly to Semedo's back, (remembering that he is farther from the ball than Semedo) he starts running, catches Semedo on the run, beats Semedo physically, wins the ball, keep running, dribbles 3 defenders and shoots hard to the net.
Just I N C R E D I B L E
The only thing that I didn't notice was the 99 jumping, but in this game is very rare you beat a defender on a high ball, so, it's normal.
Very Fast
It's Very Agile and Dribbles Very Well
Good Shooting
Never Misses a Pass
Beats Every Single Player Physically
Nothing, he is almost perfect.
I think I only change him for Mané. Because Mané is OP.
He is decent, but he is not worth the grind you have to put in. It took me approximately 10 hours to complete this card; I dropped 2 divisions, and the return hasn't been great. He has scored 12 goals in 56 games for me as a LAM in a 4-2-3-1. His pace is alright with an engine, and his dribbling is quite good. However, his passing frequently lets him down and his shooting is pretty bad for a card of his quality. There are better options on the market for less than 10k (Anderson and Martial). His links are also quite weak. All in all this card is not worth the grind.
