Hi to everyone, here comes a review of Mascherano FB that resemble his 2015-16 season. To be honest, in Barcelona he was "moved" as a CB but this version is actually a CDM ad this is the role he play at the beginning of his career in Argentina and later in FC Liverpool. He was a classic numeber 5 in Argentinina football, a rough median that plays in fornt of the central backs to break the oppent's manouver. An this is the way I want to use him.

Well, first the cold number: his stats are good, not extraordinary, but good. Compare him with Guardiola, Kante, or even Essien. Well, the numbers say that this Mascherano is comparable with all these players, but for style of play is very similar to Guardiala I think. That means at the net of the links Mascherano is 6 time less expensive than Pep. So why don't try him out as early supersub? With 5 of chem he got a 89 value as CDM, 90 with powerhouse that is the style I put on him.

I fit him in a 4 2 3 1 wide formation as a median in left position. Due his workrates he's perfect to balance and cover Robertson running deep on the wing and for now he really worth. Key stats for this man are passing (both long and short), interception, aggression and balance. High balance compensate the "low" value of strenght that means is very hard to steal the ball to him and on the other hand he's very good to intercept the passing and even fight to get the ball.

Stamina is not a problem during the full 90 minutes due his low attack workrate that let him sits deep the defending third, and I even tried him as CM and I not have a problem (I even score a sick longshot with his weak foot).

For now I'm very Happy to have him in my team, even only as a supersub.

For the people complain for his links just consider the swaps like Zanetti and Crespo that could give him full chem alongside another Argentinian (Di Maria?).

And last but not least, fits perfectly in my Liverpool legends team (under contruction, obviously...)
