I bought Lautaro Martinez just a few hours after he got release for 120k, just because i did not want to wait any longer to use his card. Despite knowing that he now goes for around 80k, I don't feel like I payed too much for him, considering his outstanding abilities in game! I normally switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation with Martinez the striker and Mertens as the CAM.

Chemstyle: Engine (he does not need any shooting boost for sure)

Pace 9/10

with Engine he has 91 on both acceleration and sprint speed and that is definitely enough to catch some defenders off guard!

Shooting 10/10

even without any Chem style boosting his shooting, trust me when I tell you that he rarely misses any chances. He is incredibly clinical with both feet!

Passing 8/10

Considering that a striker does not need to cross, his passing is quit decent. Especially with Engine he can play some great passes to either Mertens or one of my "wingers" (Gomez and Politano)

Dribbling 9/10

playing him alongside Mertens, he obviously does not feel as agile as Mertens does, however I think that there are not many players that are better dribblers than Mertens. But Lautaro is still an exceptional player on the ball. His agility of 91 obviously stands out the most. Finally don't forget his 4*4* combo!

Phy. 8/10

Stamina and strength are quit good. Talking about his jumping (93): I personally do not play as much over the wings, I do not cross towards my striker, so I cant really give any verdict, although you should keep his height in mind!

Summary:

considering his price (under 100k) this guy is an absolute goal machine and is easily able to keep up with players like Mertens IF (220k). Get this card!!!

The only reason I do this review is because of the guy who rate this guy with 3 stars, criticized his finish and used the words "keep your hands off Lautaro". The truth is that Lautaro Martinez plays like an icon. 30 goals in 18 games in Weekend League for me (I'm a div 2/3-player). Great Lautaro

First, I think i was unlucky when packed him last week, but when i tried him in some Rivals also Weekend League he scored regularly, from 59 games he scored 54.I use Hunter to boost his pace, when he got through ball, enemy defender cannot reach him, even baby rio or rttf militao, then he scored a clinical goal.Shooting stat with Hunter can scored frome anywhere, so if you 1 on 1 with GK he can shot with drive...
