88 - SIF
Hello readers, a review on the SIF Timo ‘The Sniper’ Werner. This review is based for the players who can’t afford his POTM or won’t do his POTM. This card has ‘28’ in game stats less than the POTM which isn’t that much of a difference but I’m sure his POTM will feel/play better in game. Anyway, I played Werner with the Sniper chem, what this does to his card is increases his in-game stats Finishing to 99, dribbling stats are increased massively which includes the composure stat being raised to 81. I was playing Werner alongside Reus in the 442 formation and the link up play between these two were unreal! The difference between the two is that Reus will lead the attack but Werner would finish the attack with his combined dangerous attacking threat of Speed, Agility, Dribbling, Positioning and his Finishing. Reason why I call him ‘The Sniper’ is due to the fact he will place his powered/finesse shots in any corner you place them (If FIFA always them to go there, that is..), I cannot remember him hitting the post during the games he played in!
PACE: 10/10 – He is basically on par with Mbappe, no question about that.
DRIBBLING: 8/10 – The Sniper chem boost increases his dribbling massively. He is very agile at weaving in and out between players.
SHOOTING: 9/10 – I would of given this an 8/10 due to his poor distance shooting ability but in and a yard out around the 18yard box sets his finishing a part from Reus, who him himself is a very immaculate finisher in and outside the box. But Werners shots will 9/10 hit those corners so sweetly!
PASSING: 7/10 – His passing is acceptable. Reason being is that his 85 short passing makes for great one two’s in a 2 striker formation. Would be a 5,6/10 if it weren’t for his short passing being very acceptable!
DEFENDING: 2/10 – His standard defending is terrible but will surprisingly help out with defensive headers.
PHYSICAL: 6/10 – Jumping with Werner can be successful as we all know this FIFA and his stamina at 84 is great. Could maybe play him out wide but I advise not to.
- The Pros to this card are as followed:
- Pace – As said above, feels much like an Mbappe. He is so quick!
- Shooting – His in the box shooting is impeccable. As said above in the review, 9/10 his shots will hit the corners bang on.
- Dribbling – He felt very agile enough to weave in and out amongst defenders. His close dribbling is what sets this card apart in the ‘Dribbling’ stats department for sure!
- 4 STAR Weak Foot – Of course, this will always be a Pro to any card, so it’s a Pro for Werner.
- Short Passing – Very very acceptable for a forward. Played 1-2 passing with a co striker with ease!
- Positioning – His off the ball runs were insane! Reus made it so easy to gain a hat-trick of assists thanks to Werner off the ball runs and his positioning in the box.
- Stamina – 86 will last you all game long!
- A potential winter upgrade? – This card could potentially upgrade due to how well he is doing this year. Maybe a potential 85 base card which will increase his first IF to an 86 and this to an 87? Something to consider for sure..
- Work Rates – H/M work rates are great for this card. As he possesses great pace, it doesn’t hinder this card at all.
- Likability – German, Bundesliga. Very easy to link with other players from different leagues and strong links to German Icons.
The Cons to this card are as followed:
· Strength – Will be pushed off the ball by a stronger player of course.
· Long Shots – His long shots aren’t so great. They will often be saved by the keeper.
· Visionary passing – Attempted a few through balls with him and was quite unsuccessful, so wouldn’t advise or tempt a through ball with him.
· 3 STAR Skills – This will bother many players who like skills at 4* and above but for me wasn’t an issue as I’m not a player who utilises skill often.
