Slow Down

I really think that FIFA puts in some kind of debut bonus. Ever notice new players tend to really perform, but then they average out. With De Bruyne I had the opposite experience. He was nowhere, he didn't score a goal or make an assist in my first 5 games. Then I just slowed down a bit and looked for De Bruyne to transition. De Bruyne is the pace setter for the squad. This not only improved his performances, but my whole game. Instead of playing at a pretty constant tempo, I'm in possession for one attack, then a counter, next down the wing, once a longshot, then a dribble into the box. This makes me much harder to defend.

Shooting is amazing, and with sniper he is deadly in the box as well, which is useful because he makes perfect delayed runs.

Passing is the best I've used in the game.

On a dead sprint, he feels way faster than the stat suggests.

Positioning: Always an outlet, always finding space.

Dribbling: Despite a large boost to agility and balance, don't expect to dribble around players like Messi. He has perfect control, but turns are a little slow. This isn't really a con, but if this card could dribble like Messi, there wouldn't be a better card in the game.

Kevin is pure magic

I was on EA Access and played a few drafts. I won the draft at the second attempt and packed Kevin De Bruyne. I created a really decent starter team. Depay, Eder Militao and De Bruyne was the main stars. Played him at CAM in either 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-2-1-2. The dribbling is so good. The ball is glued to his foot. Left as right. Amazing CAM

I use him as the middle CAM in a 4231 and he's unreal his dribbling, passing, and shooting are amazing. Makes great forward runs and his pace helps a lot cause he surprisingly gets behind the defense a lot.
