An interesting card

I recently did the SBC for Headliners Smalling. He does not fit in my Premier League, LaLiga and Ligue 1 team, but he is useful on the bench.

This card is very good to sub on for any defender if you are loosing. If you put a shadow or other chemistry style that improves his pace, he can even play subbed on as a full back. I find he is good to sub on if I am winning because he really can keep up with some forwards fairly well and has decent enough passing for a defender.

I would say that you should do this SBC if:

You need a Serie A (Italian 1st division) defender
You need an English defender
You want to improve your bench
You need SBC fodder.

This card is a good one, and I recommend doing it for the reasons above

Pace- Good for a CB
Strength- 93
Good Physical
Good defence stat
High heading

Balance- Only 47, which brings down dribbling stat on card.
Acceleration- 67 acceleration, which may feel bad in game.
Works much better with expensive chemistry styles.

Amazing Defender!!

I saw the Paulinho flashback and decided to get it. At the same time I had a team built around POTM Vardy and hence I decided to build a hybrid squad within 400K and wanted to have full chem. Smalling's stats look very average but for some reason he seems to be one of those "meta" defenders. This card of smalling is absolutely insane, i used his headliner card and he was slow, but this version is so fast, the defending is perfect, and he's got a great phisical. I don't know why he cost only 116k, he's better than vvd 90

Smalling the tank

I tried him for 12 matches and he feels like VVD. He is a tank. I used him anchor and he was amazing. Attackers couldn't pass him. He literally feels like VVD and he is just 36k. That's a joke. This card could go even better if he gets motm or if. I think he is worth of all the coins. Just do the SBC before it expires because it is so worth it.
