I was kind of forced to do the French League SBC, as a result of many untradeable players from the TOTY upgrade packs. Won't came as a surprise to any readers here that I wasn't able to pack that TOTY Flash....but wasn't really expected to...when X<1%

On to the review of Maolida, this poor overlooked French LW who outside of people supporting Nice or live in Nice may very much stay and come as WHO THE F IS THIS GUY?

I use him now in my squad as a strong link to Season Aouar and Mbappe and I have to be honest he does what he is asked to...I applied an engine on him to boost his already high speed, but most importantly his passing and his balance and agility (which was already good compared to majority of players).

He is a supportive player from the left that can cut to the middle with a 4-star skill and bang it near post no questions asked. He has a strong enough shot and a not so terrible finish to score even with an engine on him, marksman would solve this as well, but that you are compromising the balance and the passing (as I said he supports Mbappe and Ben Yedder). In my opinion a marksman will make him a ST...but certainly can be an option.

Strafe dribble or left stick dribble with high agility works like a charm, it's just lovely to see how a bozo like Nesta or any lower agility CB flies by him after a small move...

He is also powerful enough to hold of any oncoming tackle but you will be just overplayed against VVD or TOTY De Ligt, don't even expect this from this card.

Now down to the big question: Should you get this card? Short answer is NO, unless you have some coins available to spend and some french players to put in an SBC for packs for Future Stars Promo...

This guy is a good addition to any team, but not something that would blow you away. I like him personally he gives me options to rotate the team around and I'm just a player who personally don't give a damn about this years META but an Elite3/Gold1 player on a constant base.

He is no Neymar, but he is much better than any other option from that position from that league (taking away Mbappe IF LW)...

-High agility with exceptional ball control and dribbling.

-Good passing and vision with Engine on him

-Strong link to Aouar and Mbappe :D

-no WOW factor

-Not Neymar (but portion of the price + some pack back)

-Medium Medium (has to push him to get up the field)

-Stamina runs out around 75th min
