A lot of people were dissatisfied when they saw Messi's price at 2,8-3m, including myself. However, the fact that we do not get Icon sbcs this year is a big downfall. Hence completing OP meta cards is how to spend your tons of untradeable cards that we all get throughout the lunch of the game. I was lucky enough to complete this sbc for 2m. Nevertheless I had to sacrifice my Prime Icon moments Makelele to get the rest of the coins but to be completely honest with you Fifa 20 servers are too bad in order to be able to notice a difference between middle and prime makelele so I am using SS Acuna who is as bad as makelele in bad connection.

Moving to the main topic, Messi worth the whole amount if you're able to complete him for around 2m. Otherwise you better get SS Messi for the same amount of coins nad tradeable of course. To be honest I was not sure if I would be able to notice and differences between 94 and 97 versions. Gladly the gap is huge. Potm Messi is an excellent card and he feels like his TOTY version who I used in a couple of drafts but without the stamina. Dribbling is unreal and he feels much faster. Also the high Agility/Balance stats in conjuction with 78 strenth (Hawk applied) makes him stand on his feet against the toughest opponents without any problems. Also he feels too fast. The stats that impressed me the most were his passing and his shooting. Regarding his shooting, all Messi's cards are known for his shooting but his right foot was not as exceptional as his left. His base gold card right foot was good dont get me wrong but powerless. Guess what, his Potm weak foot feels like 5 stars. Extraordinarily good. His passing though impressed me a lot. Every through pass was a key pass to my wingers and thats why I decided to use him as a cam. Sometimes as a ST but not alone. Cam is the position that fits him the most in order to create space for his deadly finesse shot.

All in all, complete him if you can get him cheaper and you wont regret it. You wont have any other chances to get a high rated Messi card since TOTW is done for good. Cross your fingers for TOTS :P. Goals/assists contribution, I ended this WL with 44 goals and 16 assists. 60 goal contribution in 30 games.

Why Messi could be the pinnacle of FIFA 20

Messi feels like the most complete Attacker in the game. Unbelievable Ball control, pace, passing, and shooting. He slots in perfectly to the META of this current FIFA. In previous versions his size and physical stats inhibited him, but not this time around. Its very hard to lose the ball with him and when playing a possession style of play he dominates. Seems like a no brainer to say if you have the chance, buy this card!
