He didn't crap himself that much

When I opened my prime icon pack for the swaps and saw the English flag, I knew it would mean trouble. Then Gary came out and I yelled: Why! Why again, EA?

It took a while to calm down, especially knowing all the decent icons I could have gotten. Man, I said, at least not Inzaghi. Then I thought: well, might as well give him a spin in the WL, I guess.

So I put Gary (with engine) into a 41212 narrow at striker alongside 90 Mbappe and played for 14 wins (plus a few div rivals and squad battles before that). Ended up at 14:3.

In those 17 games old Gar bagged 20 goals (total of 52 goals in 46 games in my club), which is actually quite decent.

Gary is a finisher, you gotta give that to him. I used moments Rush for a while and he feels like a discount version of that card. Not the fastest, not the best dribbler, but he does finish more often than not.

I was quite pleasantly surprised with Gary TBH and I did not have high expectations whatsoever. With the current META, which is: pass to the striker in the box, turn and shoot, he worked quite well. He is a decent attacking option even nowadays. He will not create chances himself, sometimes he takes crappy touches and feels clunky, but he's got a good shot on him.

All in all, I still feel its sucks to get him in that prime icon pack (thou fear Inazghi I tell you!), but I tested him out and honsetly he did not shit himself! Will I use him more? Probably not as a simple OTW yedder is much better option for 350k, but I gave Gary a chance and he did not blow it. A solid 3,5/5!
