Review for Sahin as LCDM in 4222 and 4231 on shadow with balanced attack alongside a stay-back-Fernandinho.
Skill-Level: 22 Wins in WL
Sahins stats in 30 WL games: 8 goals 13 assists
Pace (7/10):
His acceleration is on point with shadow chemstyle, but the topspeed is still an issue for me sometimes when my frontline is defending aggressive and space is opening up for the opponent.
Shooting (8/10):
Decent long-range shots combined with clinical finesse finishing. His weak foot feels ok, but shots outside the box with his right foot didn't work for me
Passing (10/10):
His absolute strength. Passes are feeling brilliant and I can't remember one misplaced pass not being my fault. 4* WF is also great and gives you confidence in situations under pressure.
Dribbling (8/10):
He sometimes feels a bit clunky and I might try engine in the future. Overall his dribbling is totally satisfying and first touches are on point.
Defending (9/10):
Due to his quick acceleration with shadow, he feels like a Kante. Good interceptions and great defensive positioning.
Physical (8/10):
A pleasant surprise for me. He is a beast with his 94 strength and able to push away many attackers quite easily. His stamina is a problem in longer matches or with pressure activated, since he is my box-to-box midfielder.
Conclusion:
The value for money is incredible. I felt he was my 3rd best player this WL behind TOTS Mahrez and PIM Laudrup, performing on a higher level than TOTS Fernandinho, Moments Sane and Prime Raul. I am still thinking about replacing him with Goretzka, but I don't know if it's worth the investment.
