89 - TOTS
Tecatito is one of the sleeper cards, hidden gems or overpowered cards of this team of the season so far. Super cheap due to being Liga NOS and Mexican nationality making it hard to link, it is going to be hard to put him into your team without using Icons, the other issue is the card is a right back when really this is not the position he will be the most effective or influence the game, for me he is exclusively coming off the bench rather than being in a starting XI.
Onto the card, what to say he is an absolute beast, fantastic dribbling, 5* 5* combo, medium medium work rates are not an issue with the high aggression, I chose to boost his passing and shooting as using in midfield his acceleration and speed is great. Superb attack positioning he finds space really well and if the play breaks down he is capable of good interceptions and fills gaps if other players have broken forward. For me his best position was CAM where he generates opportunities with pin point passing and scores absolute bangers with both feat. Due to his size, acceleration and dribbling ability he can ghost past most defenders. Also had him as a deep lying playmaker in CDM position and he performed really well to transition play from defence and attack by dribbling out or creating breaks with good long passing. He is not particularly strong but has been able to hold off the likes of 89 Fred but struggled a little if caught by some elite CDM's like Witzel.
Would recommend Hunter if you want to use him as a winger but with Deadeye he will perform well at any midfield position with exception of stay back true CDM.
To call out this card is insane fun, you will enjoy his skills, his passing and his finishing a great player to have in the club, in the squad and in the team.
