If you can link Him, go get him

So this is my first review of a Player so i try my best to not trigger anybody ;-)

I buy him because of his incredible good Money/stat value for a Striker with good Traits and for the completion of Joao Pedro. My gameplay-style is more of an safety-Passing and waiting for the right moment and therefore i need a allrounded Striker in front and oh boy did he fill this position well. For me he is a mix of Ibrahimovic and Bergkamp moments and i can tell you that i never feel his Balance. It's maybe because he doesn't got a glamorous name or he is really hard to link but i could't understand the hate for him.

He is like an lightning tower in front wo can protect the ball as well to bring his teammates in position or try to score for his own. He can score right or left, in the box or from outside. And because he look so regual on the field and don't have any specific optical references i believe that the opponent don't realize how dangerous he is. At this point of the gameplay this is a really important oppurtunity couse many good players look for the most dangerous offensive player when you attack and somebody like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho or other famous players are easily to mark so every good opponent try to cover this players, but a person like Ilicic look so damn regular that it's even harder to see the most dangerous offensive player option in him. I play him at ST in a 4231 with "stay central" and "stay at front" and i believe he is at best as a lone striker. I'm pretty surprised that he is at least 190cm high couse he doesn't feel any clunky or something like that and his passing is pretty great. Also couse of his Bodytype and his physical stats he is so damn hard to get push of the Ball, it's ridiculous. And for me he has the perfect amount of Speed for a stay central-Striker cause he is not to slow and not to fast to run to fast for a Pass (if you understand what i mean)

So if you need a cheap Monster striker and don't need a big Name, here is your man. I don't see a better striker in this Price-range with this incredible offensive Talent. He also can play as a dangerous offensive super-sub.

-Great Pacerating for a stay central Striker

-Incredible shooting from every range (the Flair trait is a hidden gem trait for every striker)

-really really good Passing

-Perfect positioning as a lone Striker (med/med is pretty perfect for a passing gamestyle)

-Don't feel clunky at all (engine)

-really hard to Push of the Ball

-hidden pro: He look so regular that it's hard to believe that he is so dangerous.

-Linkability (even with Papu Gomez, he is to hard to link without any icons)

-Name (I believe, if Ibra got the same stats, he would cost 4-5 times more)

-no outside-food trait. (sadly but he score nearly every shoot in my games with him so right now is a "theoretical issue"

Close, but not good enough (89 UPDATE!!)

Packed him right after his hat trick, so I figured I'd keep him over the weekend and try him out. Okay so I got Ilicic in my red picks and originally was hesitant to use him because I already had RB Aguero (who is my favorite player). I decided to give him a go in my squad as a Target Man with the Hawk chem style to facilitate Litmanen and Lewandowski.
